This is my first Lexus and I had a very pleasant experience working with Classic Lexus and the salesperson, Michael Brittain. since 2014 my experience with classic as a whole has been very favorable having purchased 2 brand new cars at classic vw from Mike Urban, 2 brand new fords at classic ford and 1 used car from classic ford. s very favorable having purchased 2 brand new cars at classic vw from Mike Urban, 2 brand new fords at classic ford and 1 used car from classic ford. so when i saw a used car at classic lexus i was fully confident that the experience would be similarly pleasant, well i was sadly mistaken! on august 7th 2023 i arrived at classic lexus to look at a 2021 audi Q8 that was listed on line, the car had just been taken in on trade so understandably it wasn't ready to be sold, after a brief walk around we sat down to discuss price, after speaking with the used car sales manager i did not have that same pleasant feeling that i previously experienced at the other classic dealerships, at the time it wasnt an issue, i liked the car so the next day august 8th i put a deposit on the vehicle. Throughout the next month with various setbacks and a trip to the reconditioning center for a new rear bumper we finally made an appointment to purchase the vehicle on thusday, sept 7th then it was pushed to friday then to saturday sept 9th. sat comes and the vehicle is still not ready, it is at mentor audi, so i go there to see it because i never really got a good detailed look at the exterior. the exterior of the car had not yet been detailed. i was shocked and disappointed yet again. after a month and a few days the car sat with a deposit on it and it didnt seem it was even washed let alone detalied the only clean part of the car was the new rear bumper, at that time i called and requested my deposit back. the sales person Acacia was always friendly and attentive and i try to be patient and understanding but i have never had such a disappointing drawn out experience trying to buy a car.
