Disreputable management. I negotiated a price on the vehicle. I did not have the check with me so I drove back to Ft Worth. After calling a few times and texting, to no re I negotiated a price on the vehicle. I did not have the check with me so I drove back to Ft Worth. After calling a few times and texting, to no response, dealer would not let me put a deposit to hold the car. After reaching out again, the sales rep stated that the manager has the keys and is holding the car for me to come down the next day. I would text me ETA. I did. And just before I arrive at the dealer, I am notified that it was sold that morning. The manager was obviously attempting to get a better deal than what we agreed. I guess even the sales staff can't trust the word of their managers. Also, the dealership will add a bunch of "add ons" to a used car. So, the list price for a used car is meaningless. Pure bait and switch. And no honor in management. Managers will also push you to finance the vehicle to get commissions, while no bank or service has been able to beat the rate at my three credit unions. More

Everything and everyone was great at Classic Elite except for Shannon Eiler, the sales manager, who was a jerk. I got a trade-in quote for my vehicle online and they did not honor that quote. I think because I'm a woman and using the "friends and family discount" I got (my son is an engineer with GM in Austin). "We're not making any money" was what Shannon kept saying after he came out to meet me after me rejecting 3 packages they kept presenting. Nonsense, I politely answered. (I mean REALLY??!! Do I really care this dealership is not making any money?! Please.) I got my son on the phone, he got me an even higher quote from CarMax. I left, sold my car to them in about 30 minutes. Went back to Classic Elite the next day and FINALLY got all the add-ons taken off the final offer, and FINALLY bought my Buick Envista that I had waited 4 months for. Yes, I was glad I got more money for my car, and my salesman, Mark Minnis, was great, as was Lanh, but Shannon was a jerk...and that's putting it nicely. I said I didn't want any add-ons, I said I wanted them to honor their online quote for the trade-in, but it took me many extra hours to get my new Envista, and I am still pissed off about that. It worked out in my favor, but 3 months later, I get this email asking me to review Classic Elite. I am taking the time to leave a 1 star review for Shannon Eiler. He got 1 star only because my maiden name was Shannon. It's because of him the dealership got a 3 star rating. I added one each for Mark and Lanh. Why does buying a new car have to take all day and too many negotiations?! I said I didn't want any other add-ons. OVER and OVER and OVER again. Thank you for reading this. Stand your ground!! More
