A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, David Wilson has been involved in the automobile industry for nearly 40 years. He was vice president and general manager of Covey Lincoln Mercury in Phoenix, Arizona, for five years before coming to Toyota of Orange in 1982. Before buying out the owner of Toyota of Orange in 1985, he was the vice president and general manager. Mr. Wilson is now the owner and president of sixteen automobile dealerships - employing nearly 2000 people. Sales for these corporations now total just under $2 billion annually, making the Wilson Automotive Group one of the ten largest dealership chains in the nation.

I bought a 2025 Corolla LE. Overall I’m happy with my purchase but would not come here for future purchases or recommend this dealership to family/friends. They do $3k + mark up Overall I’m happy with my purchase but would not come here for future purchases or recommend this dealership to family/friends. They do $3k + mark ups above MSRP. Of course they tell you the excuse of “they also have to make money.” The price advertised on the website is not accurate of course. The car I bought was advertised for $22k something and when I went inside they tried telling me it was actually $27k something before taxes, etc which is insane for a base model Corolla LE. After I said I wasn’t okay with that, it was brought down to $25k, I wish I would have tried to negotiate a lower deal or closer to MSRP after friends told me that Longo Toyota sells cars for MSRP price. My experience in the finance office was whatever. I had a 808 credit score so they got me their “lowest” APR which is 4.99%, I still consider it high. Like I said, I’m happy with the car because it’s Toyota and because they took my trade in off my hands, but would probably not come back here in the future keeping in mind they do high markups above MSRP.
