They were lazy! The experience was horrible!! They don't try to help and lied about the prices in the ads. I have a 790 credit score and they didn't bother to look at it. 1) We went in to get a car for our 18 yr. old daughter. Sales man, Calvin, did not show our daughter in detail all the different functions of the car, and, my husband, actually, test drove the car, with my Sales man, Calvin, did not show our daughter in detail all the different functions of the car, and, my husband, actually, test drove the car, with my daughter in the back seat, and, Calvin (sales man) in the front seat. very unprofessional! 2) Financial advisor (Mohamed) showed us the purchase price, and, the outrageous, unbelievable, interest rate/finance charges (19.99 percent, annual percentage rate), of the car. Mohamed misinformed us of how our mtly. payment would be applied to the loan. Then, the following day, i was informed by the finance manager (Cindy), how our mtly. payment would, ACTUALLY be applied. Therefore, we signed a contract under false pretenses. (financed amount is 13, 412.00, finance charges is 9,990.00) 3) The car was handed over to us with an empty gas tank, and, was told, they would take care of us. Which never happened. 4) Our daughter had her heart set on the car, plus, according to the finance advisor, and, manager, after making our payments, on time, for a yr, we can go back and refinance at a lower, 6 percent, annual percentage rate. So, that is what motivated us to sign the contract, in order to get the car. *WORST car buying experience, ever* More
5 years ago, I tried to buy a vehicle from them (Highlander Hybrid) and couldn't get anyone to return my calls. So I called JOHN ELWAY Toyota and was taken care ofminside of an hour. Completely pa (Highlander Hybrid) and couldn't get anyone to return my calls. So I called JOHN ELWAY Toyota and was taken care ofminside of an hour. Completely painless and efficient. Now... I'm back for more. Gave them a shot (I live in Claremont) to see if things have changed. I explained from the outset that I wasn't interested in the playing the "game" with them. Bottom line it for me.... They refused (passively). So... I bottom lined it for them. (They tacked on $5k to the sticker. GOOD IDEA in this economy!). My offer was STICKER. Dead silence. Not a well run outfit More
I am a grad student at a local CSU campus. I applied for the college rebate program which included graduate studies. They told me an AA degree is worth more than graduate work and my grad studies would not the college rebate program which included graduate studies. They told me an AA degree is worth more than graduate work and my grad studies would not apply. The finance person, David, was extremely rude and loudly told me, "Maam, you don't qualify. Give it up!" This person didn't even know the rules for this program. I had to read the exact words from the Toyota web site explaining how grad work counts. I will tell friends and family not to go to this dealer. I can't believe they sell any cars. I am insulted that my graduate studies at a local CSU are not qualified even thought the Toyota website states that graduate studies will qualify for a rebate. I am even more shocked at how well qualified customers (818 credit score) are treated like dirt. Guess they don't get many highly educated and well qualified buyers. More
I have bought 4 cars from this dealership. The first 2 times I had a great experience. I worked with the internet / fleet manager who is now gone. I used to be able to complete entire process with one per times I had a great experience. I worked with the internet / fleet manager who is now gone. I used to be able to complete entire process with one person then finance, no pressure, honest easy to work with. Now they have 2 sales mgr goons who will lie to you and try to intimidate and strong arm you. If you do buy here make sure you read all of the final paperwork very carefully before signing. Finance person was actually very helpful when I had question about suspicious numbers and all but admitted that the sales manager was trying to cheat me on my trade-in. I will never go back to this dealership. The internet manager that I worked with was actually very helpful, but it seemed he did not have the authority to approve a deal. More
I had an excellent experience with the purchase of my new 2011 Tundra. The entire transaction was flawless! 'Zupe', the fleet manager matched the price I received from another dealership but got me the exac 2011 Tundra. The entire transaction was flawless! 'Zupe', the fleet manager matched the price I received from another dealership but got me the exact color I wanted (the other dealership would not do this). Cindy in finance completed all the paperwork in a fast and efficient manner. The entire process from when I walked in the door until I was driving away was just under 2 hours! A++++ and 2 thumbs up!!! More
READ the paper before you buy - $2000 ag srv (agent service fee?) for a used car? Please tell them to go back and fix the number - only pay what you are legally required to pay: sales price, tax, and f service fee?) for a used car? Please tell them to go back and fix the number - only pay what you are legally required to pay: sales price, tax, and fees. Also, there will be discrepancy between internet advertised price and dealership price, bring all your research with you. Good luck. More
This is the worst dealership... I talked with them several times before going to their location but there was no one to give attention to customers.. They lied on phone for offers and APR and when I w several times before going to their location but there was no one to give attention to customers.. They lied on phone for offers and APR and when I went to their place they changed their statements. Full of crap and BS.. It seems like smoking and chatting with each other is more important than taking care of customer. There was no toilet paper and towel in restrooms.. And no cups for drinking water... They don't deserve my bussiness.... But if you want to waste your time and money than they are top in the list... More
