A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, David Wilson has been involved in the automobile industry for nearly 40 years. He was vice president and general manager of Covey Lincoln Mercury in Phoenix, Arizona, for five years before coming to Toyota of Orange in 1982. Before buying out the owner of Toyota of Orange in 1985, he was the vice president and general manager. Mr. Wilson is now the owner and president of sixteen automobile dealerships - employing nearly 2000 people. Sales for these corporations now total just under $2 billion annually, making the Wilson Automotive Group one of the ten largest dealership chains in the nation.

I've been going to Claremont Toyota for many years now, and scheduling an appointment has been fairly simple. I like the guest lounge and I appreciate that checking out post-service is easier now. It would make me more at ease if mask wearing was more consistent (eg. Half of the lounge was unmasked and not eating/drinking. Meanwhile the staff would wear mask when outside, but then take it off completely when indoors with me and talking a few feet from my face.). I also appreciated that this time I didn't have two people trying to get me to buy a car (both visiting me in person and calling me) while I was having my car serviced. Last time that really annoyed me. All in all, this visit was straightforward though a bit long for a routine maintenance (2.5 hours). More

Service was fast and effective, my only question is: why are prices so high for most repairs. I been a customer for almost 15 years and a regular/loyal customer. Loyal customers should get better discounts/ are prices so high for most repairs. I been a customer for almost 15 years and a regular/loyal customer. Claremont Toyota estimate was 640 dollars to install manifold seal and I got it done for 150 with an independent mechanic- that is a 400 dollar difference. I would have been glad to pay 200 dollars for the repair but not 640. More
