A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, David Wilson has been involved in the automobile industry for nearly 40 years. He was vice president and general manager of Covey Lincoln Mercury in Phoenix, Arizona, for five years before coming to Toyota of Orange in 1982. Before buying out the owner of Toyota of Orange in 1985, he was the vice president and general manager. Mr. Wilson is now the owner and president of sixteen automobile dealerships - employing nearly 2000 people. Sales for these corporations now total just under $2 billion annually, making the Wilson Automotive Group one of the ten largest dealership chains in the nation.

When we first arrived we were greeted immediately, but it all went down hill from there. We specified we were looking for a used car, but the sales person would not let us look at them. He insisted that we had to lease a brand new vehicle. We said multiple times that we wanted to buy used and he would not let it go. Finally we signed some paperwork to reserve a vehicle in case we couldn’t find anything else somewhere else, but we did. When my wife went back to cancel the order the salesperson insisted that the vehicle we had purchased (which was a Toyota Sienna just from another dealership) was “a bum car.” When you say that about the very vehicle’s you are selling that doesn’t instill much confidence in you as a sales person. Then he kept telling us to leave and everything would be taken care of. Finally after insisting about 3 times he finally let my wife talk with a financial person who finally gave her a release of liability document. I do not trust the sales people here. At least the one we had would not listen to our needs, lied to us about our options, and spoke poorly about the very vehicles he was being paid to sell. I would strongly discourage people from using this dealership. More

I have come back time and time again for the past two decades for my cars and now tacoma. In fact,, my 1994 toyota pickup is still on the road with almost 600k miles. Best dealership, hands down!
