Service Department is a Nightmare I came to highland volkswagen to get my car serviced in the service department because of an electrical issue . I dropped off my car and a week later I came to highland volkswagen to get my car serviced in the service department because of an electrical issue . I dropped off my car and a week later they could not still correctly diagnose the problem which had to do with the back window and door lock not working correctly. For 3 days straight I kept getting conflicting stories from Allison the service advisor, the story changed every time I called . Finally on the 8th day with no car and money out on the rental car I had to pay for , I came and got my car out and took it to Team Audi/Volkswagen in Merrillville where there were able to diagnose the same day . So apperently they were just changing parts and guessing because it never fixed the problem. So I moved on and got over it . I went to give them a chance today to get my oil changed and just an oil changed and was turned down and told they can no longer service my vehicle by the service manager Kelly S. . How unprofessional and not reliable this service department is . If they weren't going to service my vehicle any longer I should of been told yesterday when I made the appointment with Justine yesterday instead of showing up this morning and having the service manager Kelly S. Tell me they could no longer work on my car when they were in the wrong the first time. Fair warning stay far away from the Service Department at Highland Volkswagen they have no clue what there are doing and no professional or management skills when it comes to there customers. I wish Sean and Cheryl was still there I never had a problem prior but the people in place now are totally clueless when it comes to business. I will never step foot in there again after what I went through and how I was treated by Servce advisor Allison and Service Manager Kelly S. . Maybe it's time to get people that have a clue on how to run a service department at a new car store not a mentality of an independent shop. More

Amazing place This was my first visit to Highland VW. I had gone to a different location for 8 years. I am sticking to Highland VW. Loyalty 3 years ago, I was looking to trade in a car for something smaller and Andy was my sales person. As it turned out after Andy and the team doing everyt 3 years ago, I was looking to trade in a car for something smaller and Andy was my sales person. As it turned out after Andy and the team doing everything they could for me, we ended up elsewhere. Recently, out VW broke down after 11 reliable years. We decided to look at VW 1st and Andy was our sales person. Having worked with him before, I was televised to know we were in qualified hands. We ended up not going elsewhere (Honda/Kia) and we love our purchase. I hope we have many reliable years for this VW also. Andy and the team at VW were very professional and easy to work with. More
