I got a call saying they were hoping to have everything finished that day. If not Saturday then Monday. Monday came around and no calls. I called multiple times that day and was unable to get ahold of anyone. Tuesday I received a text saying the car was ready. Spent $2,000 and they didn’t even clean it. They ran it through the wash, but never dried the outside so there were spots and streaks everywhere. Didn’t bother vacuuming or doing anything inside. Overall, disappointing. Poor communication and I’ve come to expect a clean car after spending that kind of money. Isn’t that why we go to the dealership in the first place? Will not be going back here. More

30K service Have had service at three different VW dealerships across the US as we have relocated over the past three years. Each has provided excellent service. We did not purchase our vehicle at the Autobarn in Evanston but he Autobarn was the best of the best. The entrance to the Service Dept. is not as prominent from the street as at other dealerships. I parked and walked into the showroom to get direction. The general manager greeted me and walked me over to the service door so that I clearly understood how to gain entry. Once inside the service area, I was greeted by Terrence, the service representative, who was both personable and knowledgeable. Our 2016 Touareg has very low mileage--less than 4K miles--ironically, we have transported the Touareg more miles than we have driven it., Our annual service was due. Since we have recently relocated to the area, Terrence welcomed us to the dealership, created a new client profile, reviewed our previous services, and recommended the three year/30K servicing under our service contract. The car was promptly serviced and washed and dried with care. This was a very satisfying experience from the showroom to the service department. More

Thank god for Adam Had Adam not step up to the plate and not cut me off at any time during my rant I would have go to VW National to complain. The initial service was terrible and without a doubt risked accident or injury. After hearing my rant, my history with diesels, and the fact that the Touareg stalled in an intersection with my daughters in the car. Adam had the car brought back in. A new course of action was taken and everything was work out. It sucks to have to take accountability for others mistakes, it sucksnmore to have someone like me go off on you knowing you’re not wholly to blame, but in my job I have to do the same thing once in a blue moon, and when it does happen it’s a clear learning experience for everyone below me. Hopefully that will happen for those responsible below Adam. As for Adam he handled an absolute xxxxstorm as well as one could be handled. More

I get concerned about an upsell each time. my bill was slightly confusing as my air filter and pollen filter needed replacing. I could not find them on my bill and only one filter was left in my car. There were dirty boot marks on the rug and it was not vacuumed again. I specifically asked if it could be or would be and I was assured it would be at every oil change. It never is. This has never been done even when I requested. it. It was washed when I arrived but the last few times I arrive to pick it up when they tell me it is complete and then have to wait 15 min for the car to be rinsed off. It is the small details that make the difference. More
