Mario and Narcis were able to find us a car at another dealership and bring it to Volkswagen of Evanston in less than 2 hours. We love the car and the extra feature that came with it. By far one of the chillest and easy going dealership we have ever went too. We did not feel pressured in buying the car or any kind of pressure from the finance. Thank you! More

Tires Brought a flat tire to Autobarn VW on Monday. Told that it might be r3paired omn Tuesday. Arrived at about 1145a on Tuesday to determine status of Brought a flat tire to Autobarn VW on Monday. Told that it might be r3paired omn Tuesday. Arrived at about 1145a on Tuesday to determine status of tire. Wait about 45 plus minutes. They will detrmine the status ofthe tire and go from there. Examined tire. Replace. I noted that one of the tire on my 2017 VW Passat had been replaced but could not remember the date. Does VW have the paperwork? Examined my records. Did not show that any tire had been replaced. I waited for about 1.5 hours. Returned home. Examined my file and found a December 2018 replacement covered by my Titanium package. Will drive to VW tomorrow to determine fi the tire that was replaced on Tuesday was the same tire replaced in 2018. May be covered by warranty. Still can't understand why I had the 2018 replacement paperwortk and Autobvarn VW didn't. More

It's always been like this in the 13-odd years I've been coming to them. HOWEVER, I really have to knock them down a few pegs after the last visit. I know we're all tired of this pandemic ordeal and no one wants to wear a mask, but most agree that's the most effect means of avoiding transmission short of never leaving your home. Well you'd hardly know it at this place. More than half of the people I encountered--several less than 6 ft. away--had no mask on or even in evidence of possessing one. The others either had one only over their chin or hanging out of a pocket. I was in last week for something that needed more diagnostic time so I went back yesterday. Both times--back and forth visits--there was one office person (many people in and out, enclosed space) who never had anything over their mouth/nose. To Autobarn managers: I don't care if you think COVID19 is a hoax or it's okay to "open up" as if nothing's wrong or what. 1000s of people are infected every day and over a 1000 DIE every single day and it shows no sign of subsiding. Tell your employees to wear masks!!! More
