I had a check engine light come on in my 02 Passat, brought it in to autozone, got the trouble codes, then took the car to city vw where I bought the car. I had a great service experience at Autobarn City VW. I took my 09 VW CC in since the trunk senor and the rear tail lights were out . I live in Bloomingdale IL which is about 38 miles round trip from my house to Autobarn City VW and I went to Fox Valley VW in Schaumburg which is only 9 miles away from where I live but I was not treat with any kind of courtesy at all when I was there over the summer just one time . I felt like I was just another dollar sign to this dealership which is the reason I will always get all my VW's service at Autobarn City VW . I thought everyone was very friendly but not pushy. Roman took us over to see the cars and it was very cold out so he went around to turn them on for us which we though was very nice. These guys are GREAT. When you go, I would recommend that specifically ask for Randy. He is not a high pressure guy. He offers options and gives you time to think things over. (i.e. how important is gas milages, comfort, price, etc. How long are you planning on owning the car, Is the car still going to satisfy you and meet your needs in 2 years, 5 years, etc.) Randy recognizes that you are going to be spending a lot of money and he helps you work through your options. Ron and Melissa were just as helpful for their part. But Randy really made the deal...I unconditionally recommend his service and this dealership to everyone. This dealership is about 40 miles from the house and easily worth the drive. More
