A Friendly Car Buying Experience As soon as I walked in, Ryan approached and got straight to business. I knew the vehicle I wanted to look at and think I caught Ryan off guard, but h As soon as I walked in, Ryan approached and got straight to business. I knew the vehicle I wanted to look at and think I caught Ryan off guard, but he took it in stride. The Kia was parked about 2 blocks away and Ryan offered to bring it to the building, but I said I would take the walk with him. On the way, he made friendly conversation and probed my knowledge of cars in general. I found out he is a "car guy" and has a collector item of his own. Once we got to the Kia he knew what features I was interested in and was sure to highlight them. Not once in my experience with Ryan did I feel pressured to make a decision or ignored because I wasn't making that decision. He was very respectful and maintained interesting conversation the entire time. Really the only reason I gave the dealership itself 4 stars is the lack of amenities. I may have been spoiled buying a car with another unmentioned Chicago area dealership previously, but the lack of snack options, seating, and customer parking at City Volkswagen had me thinking how lucky I was buying with the other. Overall everyone at City Volkswagen was very pleasant to work with. If I am in the market again, I will consider buying from them. More
