I’ve visited City Kia several times in the past to have my car serviced with no complaints. However my last visit was by far the worst experience ever. I scheduled to have my car’s rear tire fixed beca my car serviced with no complaints. However my last visit was by far the worst experience ever. I scheduled to have my car’s rear tire fixed because a nail had punctured the tire. I’m told there is also a recall on my vehicle. Not a surprise. I never see messages about recalls in my email etc it’s mostly when I schedule an appointment that I’m alerted. Not a major issue. The appointment is set but it’s on a day when I have to be at work by 4:50 PM. So upon arrival I share with the services Zach that I need to have my car by 2:30 pm so that I can make it to work. He says that they should be able to complete the work by 2:30. After waiting for some hours, I check back with Zach via text around 2:20 pm as I’ve not heard from him. he shares that the software install my be done a little closer to 3 pm. I let him know that this is cutting it very close as I need my car. At 3 pm, no response from Zach, so I walk outside and he tells me that it’s taking longer and that he will send me the link for me to pay once it’s ready. Time ticks on, so I then ask to speak to a manager as it’s about 3:30 pm. I find out that the software install completed but now my tire repair which I requested was now being done. Long story short, I don’t get my car back until about 4:20 PM. I was infuriated as I had to call off from work because I couldn’t make it to work on time as a bus driver at Disney. First time I called off since working there for several months needless to say, I didn’t get paid for missing that day and received a mark on my record. My issue, tech showed no sense of urgency for my situation. There was no attention to detail concerning my schedule. Misrepresented what he meant by complete. He said the car should be completed by 2:30. But he did not mean the tire repair only the recall. More importance was placed on fixing the recall issue than what I had initially brought the car in for originally, a punctured tire. I have to really think about whether or not I would retire to this dealership as you feel like herded cattle. No one is paying attention. Thank you though to the manager who stepped in to listen to my grievance. More
