I have experienced the full spectrum of service from horrible to very comfortable. The service I received at Circle Hyundai via Robert Routolo, Sam Fowler and Vincent Lorenzo was over the top and the most comfortable car buying experience I have ever had. These guys went out of their way to provide me top notch service. They were professional, knowledgeable and, very low pressure. I never felt I was being double or triple teamed. They allowed me to negotiate a price I was comfortable with and took my trade-in practically sight unseen. From the time we shook hands till I drove out of the facility with my 2014 Equus Ultimate was just over 3 hours. I can strongly recommend that, if you are in the market for a Hyundai automobile, and you want to be fairly treated with respect and professionalism go to Circle Hyundai in Shrewsbury, NJ and look up Robert Routolo. You will not be sorry. More
These guys are good. You will ultimately get a good deal. But don't take their first response as their true bottom line. You have to stick with your lower price and only gradually raise it. You have to pay it on every car from this dealer. It's not excessive but it is best to negotiate based on out-the-door pricing. That way the final number will be what you expect. They do clean the car nicely. Make sure to ask for $25 of gas if the tank is low. I will go back there for my next car purchase. The deal we got on a used 2003 Volvo was at least $1500 below the asking price of the same model and year on all cars nationwide on cars.com. So it was a good deal. It will take a long time to buy the car. We came in at 11:30 and did not leave until 4pm. They seem to do things sequentially. Try to speed things up and have them do things in parallel if possible. For example, they did not start to clean the car, a 45-minutes process, until all the financial papers were signed. And there were long gaps where the salesman was off doing other things and there was no sense of what we were waiting for or how long it would be. But all in all its a good dealership and you will have a good experience if you know the values before you look, haggle to get your best price, and have a meal before you go, because you will be hungry before you get out of there. Rich Aponte was really great to work with. We had been to a few other dealerships and the salesmen were "typical car salesmen". We thought we were through with the Hyundai family after being scammed by brad benson. Thank goodness Eric from the Internet department called us to come down to see how a dealership should be run. Robert was so helpful in selecting the right car for us. He was professional, kind and patient throughout the whole process. He is not your typical car salesman, no pressure, he actually made this a pain free process. Roger helped me through the finance part of it. He carefully explained each form that I signed and answered every question I had. Sam transferred my insurance from my old car to my new santa fe and showed me how all of the features of the car worked. Circle Hyundai is the only Hyundai dealership I will use in the future. I actually met two of Circle Hyundai's owners,Paul and Donald. They were total gentlemen. Very down to earth people. Thank you to the entire Circle Hyundai family. Purchasing my Elantra from Circle Hyundai was a very pleasant experience overall. I have to admit, I was not looking forward to it but the staff at circle listened to what I wanted as opposed to trying pleasant experience overall. The conducted themselves in a proffesional and friendly manner and never spoke down to me or pressured me. They were willing to negotiate and offer options to come up with a deal to fit my needs. Me and my wife entered the dealership and was warmly welcomed by Craig Cook, he had us sit down and listened as we told him what we were looking for. Throughout the entire process Craig was helpful, honest, straight-forward and knowledgeable. It was by far the best experience I had at a dealership and I will be recommending him and Circle Hyundai any chance I get. This was not the case three years ago, the last time I came into the dealership but I am glad this dealership has changed for the better. To reiterate, Craig made our experience the as pleasant as we could have expected and we thank you for that. Working with Casey in the finance department was also pleasant. I was there to have maintenance work on my 2011 Elantra, which was due to be returned in March of 2014, and as I was browsing through the showroom I struck up a conversation with Vincent who recommended me which was due to be returned in March of 2014, and as I was browsing through the showroom I struck up a conversation with Vincent who recommended me to Craig and before I new it I was sitting down returning my lease and purchasing a new one. They made the whole experience so pleasurable. I explained what I was there for and my current financial situation and they met every request I made of them. From the cars condition, over mileage and lack of money available they made it work. They were pleasant and understanding. I told them straight up what I had or didn't have really, but, with bad credit and all I drove away with a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra. They are good people and I would recommend them in a second. In fact, I used to deal with Brad Benson, but, Circle Hyundai are now my people. Thanks guys! More
