The last time I bought a new car was in early 1999, so I was hesitant to walk into ANY car dealership when I decided it was time to say goodbye to my old Honda. I had researched several vehicles before I went auto-shopping, and was aware of Subaru's great reputation as well as the Fleminton family of dealers. When my dad and I visited Flemington Subaru to test-drive a Forester, we were very happy to meet Bob and talk to him about the car--he was very friendly and approachable yet let us take the car out alone and gave us time and space to discuss everything ourselves. We visited several dealers that day and out of all of them, Bob was the nicest and most informative saleseperson we met. All thru the purchase process he or the sales manager Rick kept me informed of the status of where my new Forester was. When we finally took delivery Bob very patiently walked me thru all the features of my new Subaru and even set up the BlueTooth for me. Bob was a pleasure to deal with and I love my new car! More

My experience with Flemington Subaru was overall very positive. I went there three times before ultimately buying my used car, and every time I was given personalized attention and service. My only complaint was that the staff was usually busy, so I did have to wait ~5 minutes a few times, but when I was talking to a representative I never felt rushed or pressured. The thing I liked most about my experience was that I was never forced to sit through a long-winded talk about extras or options that I didn't want. I went in, told them what I wanted, and walked out with a car a few days later. More
I've never had such a pleasant buying experience like this one was. My trade-in was ten years old and the technology has changed drastically. This was the 7th Subaru we have purchased from Flemington Subaru.All have been from Mr. Hungerford. He is a big part of the reason we make our purchaeses at flemington. Like most people, I dread the gimics and sales pressure of auto dealerships. Flemington Subaru, and Salespersons Rick Hungerford & Ridge Ryman were personable and treated us like family. No pressure, yet professional and confident in the product they sell. The Service Dept is also 5 stars, as they helped me add some nice touches to my new Forester, in particular, Joe Lalier. My wife and I still own the 2001 Forester at 180,000 miles we bought from this dealership, and now we have a 2011 Forester. Expect to see us at same dealership in 2021, since we seem to run on ten year cycles! More
It was a great buying experience. We just picked up a certified pre-owned Legacy yesterday. Alex made the entire process very easy and was able to answer all of my questions. An extraordinary experience. When I did, and my car arrived, he had all the paperwork ready for us on arrival. He instructed us to test drive the car before signing for it, and after doing so, and being satisfied, we took delivery. My wife and I were in and out of there, including the test drive, in under 30 minutes. I brag about the price - about $1,000 less than any other dealer, and without "gotchas," such as quoting me a price and then adding the manufacturer's "transportation charge" (already included in the MSRP) back in, as done to us by some smart aleck sales manager at a Woodbridge Subaru dealer. At Flemington, except for my own indecision, I essentially bought our Outback with one phone call and a couple emails. If you want to test the integrity of a dealership, ask them to fax or email you the purchase order loan documents they are going to ask you to sign. This dealership did it without question. I knew what I was doing before I arrived. This dealership is extraordinary in every way. I'm even finding service matches the sales experience I had. I have sent this dealership perhaps 3 or 4 deals in the past several months as a result of my experience, and each of them has said I was right. I've not been embarrassed with any of my referrals.
