My wife and I had seen the huge selection of Nissans Apple listed on their (GREAT) website with our eye on a couple of Frontiers. Like any couple today, we did all of our homework looking on Kelly Blue Book and edmunds.com along with a few dozen Google searches and after looking at the reviews on the dealer, we decided to pay them a visit. I can honestly tell you that, after having driven over 100 miles to see them this past weekend, that you will not be disappointed to do the same. Walking by the door and looking around when we first arrived, Bruce Massey greeted us with a "good morning" that did not sound like it had come from a salesman trying to make a sale. It sounded like a greeting from your next door neighbor who you have known for years. We knew what we wanted to look at and were up front with Bruce. He took us right to the Frontiers, set us up with a test drive on the one we liked and he went right to work on some numbers for us. Coming back and going over the numbers (because we LOVE the truck), there was no feeling of anxiety, pressure or anything else we had ever felt when buying a car. Working with Bruce was comfortable, easy-going and productive. To make this already long story short, he worked with my wife and I being very reasonable on a trade in and the on the price for the new truck (which was already a little cheaper than any other dealer we found within 100 miles of us for a truck we actually wanted). In the end, we drove off with our new Frontier. We loved the dealership - a huge inventory on a smaller lot that is easy to navigate around with no flashy displays taking away from what should be a simple experience in buying a car. We love the product and the people we met and worked with at Apple were all top notch. At no point did we feel like we were dealing with a salesman and were taking on the massive responsibility of multiple years of significant financial obligation. At the end of the (very short) day, we felt like we met great people and got a great deal. We could not have been happier with the entire experience. My wife and I already have plans to buy our next car at Apple. If Apple stays half as good as they are now, it will always be worth the trip. More

Just the right experience for us My wife and I have been driving Jeep Wranglers for about 25 years and have shared many great memories, but we are getting older and want to continue o My wife and I have been driving Jeep Wranglers for about 25 years and have shared many great memories, but we are getting older and want to continue our fun in a vehicle with a real roof, better manners on long highway rides, more comfortable seats, and reliable off-road capabilities. Our summers always include driving on beautiful beaches with deep soft sand -- not the kind of thing you can usually do with a typical family crossover SUV. After reading all sorts of publications like Consumer Reports, we realized that the number of vehicle models with these capabilities is dwindling, but the truly-capable Nissan XTERRA is still available and attractive. We started by driving to Apple Nissan in York, PA -- our closest Nissan dealership. Mike Colen greeted us and showed us three XTERRAs representing all three models: X, S, and Pro-4X. Having had a back injury, my wife needed time to carefully experience all the seats. Mike was patient and helpful and not the least pushy. We were pleased, but needed to come back another day to test-drive. We scheduled a return visit, but Mike was sent off to a training by his boss. He called us and apologized and arranged for a another representative to assist us at our scheduled time. We appreciated his manner of communication. We then worked with Jimmy Kompotiatis. Jimmy is friendly, enthusiastic, and highly knowledgable about the products, and he led us on a test-drive of the Pro-4X model -- the model with the best seats for my wife, and the best of everything else, too. He had our 2003 Jeep appraised and offered a strong trade-in; we had a relatively simple "deal" conversation and arrived at a totally-attractive price. The XTERRA is a joy to own, and we can't wait to get to the beach! This is our first personal interaction with Apple Nissan, but we have family members who have had vehicles serviced there (an Altima and a LEAF) and they have been especially pleased (we grilled them about their experience before going near the place). We have no hesitation about recommending Apple Nissan, and we are now an all-Nissan family driving what we call our "hybrid" -- a LEAF for all local driving and an XTERRA for the long trips and the beach! I had been admiring the Rouge for quite sometime. I don't care for change, so I was torn between the Sentra Sport, which favored my car, and the Rouge. Jay asked if he could help me, and that was the beginning of a customer/salesman relationship that I had in mind. I told him I do not like pushy salesmen and that I loved the Rouge, but was not sure of going to a larger vehicle. He tuned right into what I was saying and took me for a test drive with a Rouge. He could tell that was what I really wanted. Then I drove the Sentra. The next day, I asked him to give me a price on my car awhile and he said I want you to drive this Rogue this week and see how you do in the snow tomorrow. We'll I told him, Im afraid of the snow and it would sit at home. He said that's ok too. Next day when it was icy I drove it to work. I never felt safer in a vehicle than I did that morning. I still didn't know if I wanted the bigger vehicle because of being short and seeing out. I did decide that I would have to have the camera package if I bought the Rouge. I started on a saturday with Jay and he had all the patience in the world. Come Wed. I drove the car again and decided I would go with the Rouge. Jay made sure every decision I made was what I truly wanted. I truly felt like a Nissan family member. The Apple Nissan team really was a true team from the moment I walked onto the lot until I pulled out with my new Red shiny Rouge the following saturday. I will definately stay with this dealership and recommend this dealership to my family and friends. More

Purchasing a vehicle from a dealer 3000 miles away was a little scary. However, once connected with Michael Colen those fears evaporated and we were able to complete my purchase within a short time.
