I am very sorry to hear about the recent mechanical problems that you are having with your van. With the time frame of about 8 months since you purchased the vehicle and it properly running in the interim we can not control the mechanical failure of the vehicle at this time. Therefore we will not be taking part of fixing/replacing the Odyssey. Me and my husband with our 1 year old and 4 day old traveled the hour away to your dealership in Harrisburg about 8 months ago. We dealt with a sales man by the name of Jason H. I was very weary and hesitant on handing over our last $8,000.00 for a used vehicle and Jason and my husband spent over an hour trying to persuade me into buying this vehicle. 2009 Honda Odyssey... finally after hearing the story of Ciocca and how much of a family man and how you tried to incorporate family into the business, I handed over $7995.00 to be exact. Now fast forward to present... after driving off the lot I noticed a slight noise with the engine but contributed that to possibly age and mileage. However now, 8 months later and out 8k, I found out the van needs a new engine, took it to 2 different shops to be advised same thing, also last night fire dept was at our home because van started leaking gasoline down my driveway. I had to have it towed yet again... now I called Jason advising him of issue and trying to see if anything could be done. I received a call about an hour later advising me they would give me 500 auction value and sell me a 2007 van for 7250... I explained to Jason, this is why I hesitated giving you my money, there is NOTHING left. We have 6 kids and no vehicle now!!!! In winter at Christmas time!!!! My husband came into 14k from an old workmans comp case, we spent 8k at your dealer and 6k on a pool for our kids. I advised Jason we needed something reliable but we couldn't afford payments and we were advised of the reputation of your dealership, so we dove in... unfortunately it is regrettable now and very disappointing. I knew we bought a van as is and used however you just expect for 8k and coming from a dealer that it would last more than 8 months and not have repairs that exceed cost of vehicle. This is a shot in the dark, but I am pleading with you at this point for some help! Please this is my family and our livelihood, this is how my husband got to work everyday to support our mortgage and kids... I am not asking for more than what I paid for, I just would like 8k worth of a vehicle... Even if nothing is done, except you actually making it to the end of this email, I at least truly thank you for that. At least you heard me. Respectfully The little guy, Amanda Carter

While your vehicle does not qualify or fall under the lemon law, per 1800 lemon law, there are other laws that protect consumers as I was advised and will seek legal counsel that I was referred to by them. I wish your dealership and owner were more willing to assist instead of traveling down this path!
