Had an appointment to look / purchase and upon arrival was informed the vehicle that i confirmed was there was in fact not there, Feel as tho I was flat out lied to just to get me "in the door", Like t was informed the vehicle that i confirmed was there was in fact not there, Feel as tho I was flat out lied to just to get me "in the door", Like the previous reviewer said, its as if they just don't give a s###. Total waste of my time! A phone call or text would have been nice to let me know the subject vehicle was no longer available. Honesty goes a long way.. So much for the Ciocca promise! More
As an 80 year old senior, I remember Pontiac GM dealers were ethical. They would tell you straight out if the car's problems were too expensive to repair, parts could not be found, a simple solution is ava were ethical. They would tell you straight out if the car's problems were too expensive to repair, parts could not be found, a simple solution is available without cost, or provide a complimentary service to a new customer that was an easy fix. In my case, my key fob code was altered when changing the battery inadvertently. So Ciocca charged $175 to examine the problem when told beforehand it would only take 5 minutes. I knew my horn did not work from the gadget one inserts under the dash board that specifies the problem. Upon pickup, I'm told I need a horn but Ciocca did not stock a GM horn that would cost several hundred more that already cost another $175. My gas tank had air preventing uninterrupted fill up at the gas pump. A local auto mechanic told me to just turn the pump upside down when filling the tank. Upon pickup from Ciocca, I 'm told I need a part that is only available in Europe and costs thousands of dollars. Ciocca suggested the easy fix instead. Another $175 wasted. $525 to re-program a key fob. Outrageous! More
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. If I can give advice to anyone who just wants to read the first 2 sentences of this review any advice- do not do business with Ciocca. I ordered If I can give advice to anyone who just wants to read the first 2 sentences of this review any advice- do not do business with Ciocca. I ordered a 2022 GMC Canyon Duramax back in March. Placed a deposit and all. Seemed simple enough. The salesperson I talked to knew absolutely nothing and had to run back to her “manager” every 30 seconds, but I guess as long as the truck was ordered I didn’t really care. I asked for a call for an update every few weeks, never actually got one. Even if it was just a manager looking into my order or letting me know that something was still on hold, I always had to do the leg work. It was tough to get ahold of anyone there. Phone systems changed and so did extensions, and when I called the operator I was just forwarded to a voicemail that never picked up. If I did get ahold of someone, they just said that GMC put a hold on 4WD trucks. Supply chain issues or whatever, thats fine. After about 6 months of sitting around I started to get a little curious and wrote to GMC on facebook to see if I could get an update from them about this 4WD shortage. They asked for my order number and when I provided one they said that the order number didn't exist. I called the dealership and was told that GMC called their manager directly about the issue. So I come to find out that the Duramax canyon was discontinued months ago. My order was never going to be placed. With a simple google search and message on Facebook I saved myself months of waiting and aggravation for nothing. After 6 months, no sales manager had the decency to take 10 minutes out of their day to check on my order, when all I wanted was an update. If I never wrote to GMC on facebook, I would still be waiting to this day. I jumped on the internet and found a 4wd duramax canyon in less than a day in North Carolina. I asked the sales manager for them to get it shipped to NJ, figured the least they could do for holding onto my money for 6 months and providing absolutely 0 customer service. This guy Dan said he would try his best, and I reminded him on the urgency of the matter as these trucks were going fast. Waited a few hours, no update from Dan. They were supposedly too busy setting up for a car show rather than helping their customers. I wrote to the North Carolina Dealership myself, bought a flight, flew out, bought it, and drove it home. I called Ciocca back and explained that due to total lack of communication, wasting my time and money, and lack of urgency to source a new truck that I needed to spend a decent sum of money to fly out and buy this truck myself. Although I have never felt this before, I felt like I was almost deserving of some sort of reimbursement. Whoever this sales manager Dan Maida is told me that he is not at fault for any of this, and none of this is his problem. Blamed the whole thing on GMC. I don’t care if my truck wasn’t actually going to be built, its the fact that nobody even bothered to check on it months ago when I was searching for updates. I could have gone somewhere else with my money. Dan really didn’t seem to care that he wasted 6 months of my time. I told him if I didn’t dig into my order myself I would still be waiting, Save yourself the trouble and go to a dealership that actually cares. More
I was able to get a Corvette at MRSP with only 11 months of waiting. Process was very straight forward- communication was great and my Salesman- was fantastic. He was able to recommend a transport company of waiting. Process was very straight forward- communication was great and my Salesman- was fantastic. He was able to recommend a transport company that got my car to me that same day. I have never had a car prepped so well- ever. They even took care of registering the car in my home State. Will definitely use again More
Great to get a corvette at msrp. That said, communication is not good until your number comes up. I found out after I had my car there is a website to see where you are in line. That That said, communication is not good until your number comes up. I found out after I had my car there is a website to see where you are in line. That was never communicated to me. I put my deposit in July 2021 and received my car July 2022. It usually took at least 2 emails to get a response. Sometimes waiting a week plus. At the moment I am still waiting to see if the car is registered correctly. I did the museum delivery on July 27th and went to my county clerk yesterday and there’s no record of it yet. We shall see…. More
