The service portion was easy once I could get the appointment-- I had several previously, but due to my wife's prolonged recovery from surgery, she wasn't able to drive until last week, so i had to c appointment-- I had several previously, but due to my wife's prolonged recovery from surgery, she wasn't able to drive until last week, so i had to cancel the first couple tries (no fault of Chuck P's). I did try to call service on my way to Chico to have them get the vehicle ready prior to my arrival just so I could get the AC started in advance, but couldn't get through to a live person... but the service experience itself was good. IMPORTANT!!! I did request that they re-code my garage door opener to the upper console, but it still does not work, but I plan on calling Kelsey to see if I can drive it to Oro Dam Toyota to see if they can do it, as it is much closer and I can immediately go check if it works when they are done (the 60 mile round trip to Chico makes follow up a little difficult, but again, no fault of Chuck P's!!) I've had nothing but good overall experiences with Sales or Service at Chuck P's, and continue to highly recommend you to friends!!! Best regards! Dave bennett More

I drove 100 miles to purchase my 2021 Toyota highlander platinum here, It was there low pricing that caught my attention then after calling and referred to the sales guy Brendon, I made that decision to go platinum here, It was there low pricing that caught my attention then after calling and referred to the sales guy Brendon, I made that decision to go that very same day. Brendon was very professional and quick to respond, you can feel that you're being taken cared of. When we got there, Brendon took us into the vehicle and explain the new features and specs. He is knowledgeable because he is consistent with what I've researched online. We test drove the SUV and went back to the office to start the hardest part of the buying process and that is negotiating. Even though they have the lowest price within the 100-200 miles from where I lived, I opt for the costco pricing which they are partnered with. I am not going into details about costco pricing but it was a really good deal, There are ups and downs in the negotiation process but Brendon and Morgan (sales manager) worked with us to be able to make it happen for me. To make it short, we got the vehicle that we wanted at the price we can afford. The signing was a breeze and Wendy (Finance) respected out request that we are no longer going to get any additional options at the moment due to maxing out my monthly payment. The car was clean during the walkthrough and gas was filled at full. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for cars. It was worth the drive for me and I am definitely coming back on my next future purchase. Thank you! Keep up the good work Chuck Patterson Toyota More

The sales process s This is a warning. Please read it all of the way through. I apologize for the length, but it is needed for this to make sense. The sales process started out great. We went over to the used car section, we were met by a friendly salesman, took a test drive, and then went over to the new car area so we could do paperwork. During the test drive we realized that there was only one key fob. Knowing that key fobs can be hundreds of dollars, we told the salesperson that the deal would only be done if a second key with fob was included. The salesman told us “No problem we can do that.” We then went to the negotiations. The price of the car wasn’t meeting what we wanted to pay based on our down payment and our monthly payment. We did some negotiations and were able to get $1000 off. We then tried to negotiate for another $1000 off. The salesman went to talk to his manager about it, and then came back and told us the 1st $1000 that they took off ate up most of the profits, so that was their final offer. We agreed on the price, the down payment, and that they would provide a new key fob. We asked three times during the negotiations that a key would be included, and we were told yes by the salesman. Then we go to the financial portion of buying a car. The finance lady seemed nice, polite, and professional. She did her best to sale us gap insurance, but we declined. When it came time to sign the paperwork, the finance lady was explaining the finance paperwork and everywhere we needed to put our initials. We found it peculiar that one of the things she said to use was this, “Here is your GAP insurance, it was put into the price of the car”. So then why was she trying to sell it to us? She wasn’t able to sell us a warranty either, so I am sure they “Sell” GAP that is already included and add it in to their commissions. How unethical. I am embarrassed for them. So, we have finished all of the paperwork. We ask the finance lady to make sure we are getting the key fob. She says that she is not sure and that I have to ask the salesman. After we sign the paperwork the salesman comes up to us and we ask about the fob. He says, “My manager said that we buy those keys with the profit we make, and the $1000 ate up most of the profits so we can’t give it to you.” I was noticeably upset, and the salesman said he’d work on it and to give him a few days. He said, “My manager that is coming in is a Patterson so I’ll have a better chance to make it happen.: So I had to contact him on the 3rd day, and he told me that he did all he could and he just couldn’t make it happen. He said sorry I they won’t do it. I told him how unethical the finance lady is and what happened. He said, ‘Sorry I didn’t know that happened.” I then told him how unethical he is and his sales managers are. I continued to tell him that I don’t find it coincidental that I was told that I would not get a new key fob until I signed all of the paperwork, and I was going to tell everyone I work with – I work for a large agency- how unethical they all are. He apologized and said he would call me back. He called me back about ten minutes later and told me this, “A different manager just came in and he made it happen. They key company will call you to set it up.” I find it very interesting that after I called him unethical and then threatened to spread it around that all of a sudden, he got me a key. I am embarrassed for them. They tried to deceive me, they hoped I would go away, and it took threats for them to follow through with a promise. More
