We brought in our department shuttle (2014 Ford Escape) on 04/21/21 for a simple oil change, new wipers and a handle for the hatch back. I communicated that if the handle could not be obtained that day the on 04/21/21 for a simple oil change, new wipers and a handle for the hatch back. I communicated that if the handle could not be obtained that day the vehicle still needed to be picked up the same day. I was told that it would be done around noon. I was called around 2:30pm to let me know that they could not obtain the hatchback handle. I said that was ok, but I still needed the car back the same day and was told I would be called when the vehicle was done. When it was time for me to leave work I had not received a call from the service associate (Melissa?) and I forgot that the vehicle was not back. The next morning I immediately called and said I never received a call and I needed to pick up the vehicle. I was told that the wipers and handle have not been received. I reiterated that we had wanted the vehicle back the same day regardless of these nonessential parts. She acted as if she didn't remember me saying that. Finally it was agreed that I would take the vehicle and would get a call when the parts (hatchback handle and wipers) arrived. Today is 05/03/21 and I have not received a call yet regarding the outstanding parts. I will buy the parts elsewhere and install them myself. Several people at my place of work used Lithia Calallen and have related similar lack of communication and slow down in service. More
