He informed me the vehicle had not been through service yet but Where to begin? To start I contacted This dealership on 5/19 and spoke to Juan Ochoa. He informed me the vehicle had not been through service yet but it would be ready to take home that day. I asked because I was driving from Austin. After I finished up buying paperwork, I was told the vehicle would not be done that day. I informed them I would spend the night if the vehicle could be ready the next day guaranteed. I was told that wouldn’t be happening, but it would be ready Friday or Monday 5/24 at the latest. Juan Ochoa offered to deliver the vehicle or at the very least meet me halfway (San Antonio) with the truck. After the 24th passed I was told the recall part is back ordered. From then I was just told “I’ll go check on it and call you.” Every time I called but was never called back. I ended up calling the parts department who confirmed the part was in. I called the service department and told them the part was in. From there the service manager told me the truck would be ready 6/3 at the latest. On 6/3 Juan Ochoa told me the truck would be ready 6/4 and he would deliver or meet me half way depending on staff availability. 6/4 Juan would not answer or return my calls. 6/5 Juan told me at 10:20am he just needed to talk to his service manager to get someone to come with him for delivery and he would call me back soon. Juan never called back. When I called I was told he was unavailable. I asked for a manager and spoke with Stan Colbert. Stan then told me they do not deliver and that Juan told him I requested delivery. I informed him of the conversation starting 5/19 and that Juan had offered delivery since the beginning and had also told me he would be delivering today, 6/5. Stan told me same day delivery isn’t possible and that I could pick the truck up or they could try to arrange delivery next week. Frustrated I found a friend to give me a ride to pick it up and told Stan I was on my way from Austin, a 3 hour drive. He told me the truck would be ready when I got there. I arrived at the dealership and was told the truck needed to be detailed, fueled, and have temporary plates assigned. I waited an hour for that to be done. I finally get the truck and proceeded to remove a full grocery bag of trash from the vehicle while in their parking lot. The only key to the truck is also broken. I left and drove home eager to get away from this place. On the way home I realize the change oil light is on and the sticker for when to service the oil and fuel filter from this dealership is expired. I’m almost home when the check engine light comes on. I called the service center to see if maybe they had performed the normal maintenance on the truck during the 18 days I was waiting on recall service. They informed me they did not and it needs to be done. I purchased a replacement key from another dealership. I have an appointment for another filter replacement (the reason the check engine light is on they believe) and I need to change the oil and fuel filter on this just purchased vehicle. All this to say Juan Ochoa lied to me every time I spoke to him. Stan Colbert did nothing to resolve the problems brought to him and has never followed up with me. The only respectable person I met there was Lee Levine who worked on my purchase in person. Lee, I would find another dealership to work for this place makes everyone who works there look bad. Prospective customers, I would say just go somewhere else. It’s just not worth it. More
