My 2020 Ram 1500 BH BTS Edition began having engine issues at about 18-20k miles. The truck has been in the shop 6-7 times, consuming months of use! This time around, I was told that the wiring harne issues at about 18-20k miles. The truck has been in the shop 6-7 times, consuming months of use! This time around, I was told that the wiring harness was faulty, thus replaced. To date, the exhaust manifolds, fuel injectors, plugs, lifters, cams, 2/3 ECMS(twice), the hybrid battery, the regular battery, catalytic converters, and many other components I can’t remember have been replaced. The truck now has just 48k miles as of this drafting, yet it’s still not right! I have contacted Krohn and Moss, who specialize in Magnuss-Moss claims(like Florida’s lemon law, but Federal, w/o a statute of limitations), and they have agreed to take my case. They have a 99% win rate, so the fact that they agreed to represent me tells me that they are confident. I have twice asked this dealership to give me the original purchase price as my trade in value, and I’ll get a different truck. I’ve yet to even get a response. When I prevail, they will pay me the original purchase price of roughly $65k(I put $25,000 down), plus all payments made, plus all insurance costs accrued from 10/2020-present($12,000+/-), plus rental costs, plus attorney’s fees! That’s going to be pushing $100k! I’m dumbfounded by their shortsightedness, and don’t want to sue anyone; by their own doing, I’m forced to do so. Nobody should EVER have to go through what I’ve been through! I’m a disabled, thus retired, attorney who just wants to drive a nice, new, reliable, capable truck. This truck would be all those things, but for its complete lack of reliability! I pray for someone who has the authority to resolve this will read what I wrote, and reach out to me. 🙏🏼. Tobias L.
