Salesperson Dakota and the entire staff of Chevrolet of Wooster completely exceeded my expectations in every respect! This was an in-person transaction as I olny live 45 minutes away. From their website, which is very well-designed and contained 100% truthful information, to the buying/trade-in process to the splendid after-transaction service, I was 100% satisfied with the experience! The 2018 Porsche Macan S which I purchased on 6-4-2024 from them was even better than I expected! The vehicle was very clean when I first viewed it and even cleaner when I took delivery. As reported to Carfax, it was extremely well-serviced with many new parts, all at no additional cost to me. Salesperson Dakota, floor manager Brian and all the other staff members who I encountered were very polite, cordial and seemly very happy to be of service (small town friendliness)! Their asking price was already below-marker and we reached an agreement on selling price and trade-in value in a cordial manner and without any high-pressure tactics (no attempted add-on such as window etching, undercoating or other nonsense tactics employed by other dealers with whom I have previously dealt). Overall, it was and excellent experience and I would not hesitate to recommend Chevrolet of Wooster! More

Had purchased several vehicles at this dealership over 20 years or so going back to when it was Red Ferris Chevrolet. Always satisfied in the past. Last year bought a late model used Chevy Impala Premier. Vehicle had 70000 miles. We talked about condition of the car (looked and ran great). I told them I understood it was a used car and just out of warranty but wanted to be sure they had done an inspection and everything (especially safety related) was in decent condition. Was assured that the inspection had been done and all was well. Two weeks later heard a horrible metal on metal screech. Front brakes had NO pad left. They charged me over $500 to repair. When I called to talk to the manager Dale, salesman told me he gave Dale the message and he would call me back. After repeated attempts to reach him I gave up. After 20 years, I'll never buy another vehicle there, they lost all my maintenance business, would not recommend doing business with them. More

Took our car in for a check up before we went on vacation, we have an 2012 captiva and was charged for $385. for some work they had done, which is what we wanted them to do. While on vacation we noticed that it was not shifting right sometimes. When we returned took it back to have it checked out again and they told us the catalytic converter is clogged and charged us $161 just to do a diagnose and advise. We did not have them fix it but was charged $135 for hooking up to the computer and $135 for labor. The car was just in there a couple weeks earlier, to see there was any issues and now we are socked with more money these issues should have been noticed the first time? We will not go back! I understand that the clogged converter is not their fault but they could of given us a break on the diagnostic charge seeing how it was just in the shop. If this how customers are treated in Wooster Chevrolet we will not be dealing with them, there are other Chevrolet dealers around and when we are ready for a new Captiva here real soon, we will go where they value a customer. Very disappointed. More
Dishonest salesmen Rick and Tyler. I spoke with the salesman Rick over the phone and told him I had 16k for a vehicle that was on their website and not to waste my time or his if I came out to buy it. salesman Rick over the phone and told him I had 16k for a vehicle that was on their website and not to waste my time or his if I came out to buy it. Rick said I would not be wasting my time. I arrived and Rick was not there, so I spoke with Tyler. I told him what Rick and I had agreed upon and he wrote down 16k on a piece of paper. Tyler pulled up the Carfax and the vehicle on his computer as well as the notes that Rick had put into the computer. Tyler even did a soft pull on my credit. We test drove the vehicle and pointed out a couple things wrong to Tyler that he said they would fix. Tyler said he would like to see me sign papers for the car before I left, and I agreed to that as well as leave a deposit on the vehicle. After that Tyler said he had forgotten to do one more thing and went to the see the sales manager. He returned and said we cannot sell the vehicle to you for 16k. So after driving there, test driving, talking with 2 salesmen, two verbal agreements with the salesmen, no sale. More
If you are not local, do not call this dealership, do not waste your time driving to this dealership, and most certainly do not believe a word that they say. I had the same experience as so many other reviewers here have had. I found the Camaro I had been looking for online and it was listed as in transit. I called the dealership and was told that a couple people had called about it, but that if I showed up in person and started the paperwork, it would be mine. So I packed up the kids and drove an hour and a half down there. I went through all the paperwork they could do without the car there. I even agreed to pay MSRP and take way less than I should have on my trade in. When I tried to pay a deposit to secure the car, they wouldn’t do it, but told me they were a “laid back” dealership, and that they would call me when it came in. So I waited for two weeks, excited about getting the car I’ve been wanting. That’s when I got a call from the manager, giving me the “bad news” that they had sold the car to an employee. Not even to another customer. To an employee. Zero honesty and zero integrity at this place. I never write reviews, but if I can save even one person from being conned by these people, it will be worth it. Whatever you do, find another dealership. More
