Service Department I arrived at the dealer at 0630, first in line before they opened to have my car checked for a long road trip. Bill was the tech who signed me in with as I wanted the car check as well as the airconditioning which seemed to work at times. Bill told me he had cars ahead of me from yesterday and there would be a wait as I did not have an appointment. At 1500, 8.5 hours after I arrived, I went to Bill and asked if the guys were working on my car. He had to ask my name again and look for the paper work at whcih point he said no, they have not started. I asked for my keys back, I said I was leaving and would not be back for repairs or buy a car at this delaer again. I had originally bought this car at this dealer. At no time did Bill tell me my car would not be looked at this day and at no point during the day did Bill check in with me to let me know how things were going. The tech from the oil change desk asked me twice if I was waiting with him as I was sitting in the lobby all day and I told him what I was waiting for and he said, "Oh you with the other desk". He seemed to have great customer service. Anyway thank goodness there are other car places as I went o Midas and everything was taken care of in 1.5 hours with no appointment. I will not buy another car at this dealer or have my current car serviced at this dealer More

He went above and beyond my expectations to fix some issues on my new used truck purchased from Chevy of South Anchorage. Incredible service. More
Worth the drive from Fairbanks to Anchorage So glad we chose to drive to Anchorage to purchase our new Silverado. Each sales associate we spoke with was helpful and friendly. Julie and Audric we So glad we chose to drive to Anchorage to purchase our new Silverado. Each sales associate we spoke with was helpful and friendly. Julie and Audric were fantastic. Price negotiation was a breeze. Audric was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and even assisted us with our Onstar setup after the sale. Kevin presented us with coffe mugs and nice embroidered hats to thank us for our business. To top it off Audric took a photo of us with our new truck, which is being made into a calendar for us. The customer service within the sales department is exceptional. So glad we chose to make the drive from Fairbanks to purchase from Chevy of South Anchorage! More

Bait and Switch Advertising We were contacted by one of the sales people Julie. We talked with her about a Nissan Murano which she told us over the phone that we could get for $ We were contacted by one of the sales people Julie. We talked with her about a Nissan Murano which she told us over the phone that we could get for $6,500 out the door with studded snow tires. We came into the dealership and were turned over to another sales person who took us for a test drive. We came back into the dealership, Julie and our sales person talked about the car and she reiterated - out the door for $6,500 with studded snow tires. Then the deal was turned over to one of the managers. After two and a half hours of waiting around, he let us know that the deal that was originally offered to us was not going to work, that we would have to pay more. This is classic bait and switch advertising. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau only to find that this dealership refuses to respond to BBB complaints. On a scale of A-F, with F being the worst, the BBB rates them as an F. More
Terrible We scheduled an appointment to have work done on our commercial service truck while our employee was on leave. The truck had alignment issues (which w We scheduled an appointment to have work done on our commercial service truck while our employee was on leave. The truck had alignment issues (which was really obvious from the wear pattern on the tires), plus it was losing power intermittently. We were able to leave the truck with them for over a week, but when we picked it up they hadn't done any work except change the oil. They said they couldn't find anything wrong. We took the truck to another dealership who did an alignment, changed the front tires, and diagnosed a leak from the fuel tank that was repaired under factory warranty. This was an overall really irritating deal. We planned ahead, made an appointment, described the problem and they did nothing. It wasted a lot of our time and our company lost revenue. Will never go back. More
Very friendly and helpful Esera was very nice and helpful he never pressured or rushed me (even though the shop was closing). I don't think anything could have gone better and I will recommend chevorlet of south anchorage and Esera to all my friends and family. More
