I had left my car on their lot because I was going to be out of town for a couple of weeks. Before I got back to Anchorage I was informed my back window had been broken. I asked them if they were going to pay to get it fixed and they said they would only pay my deductible. I believe someone who works there broke the window as there weren't any other vehicles who had a broken window and nothing was taken from my vehicle. I called Kong after I had my window repaired and told him the deductible is $50. He said he had to talk with his manager (whom he had discussed this with previously) and said he would call me back. After 4 days I am still waiting. Just tried calling and no one is answering. Horrible service! More
When I arrived this evening to drop off my Colorado for some work, nobody was wearing a mask, except me. I asked Shane, the Service Rep whom I usually deal with, and his buddy if they were not worried abou some work, nobody was wearing a mask, except me. Shane scoffed and minimized the problem. I tried to offer him some current and factual info about the crazy high and steep 4th wave of COVID (mostly omicron variant and mostly among the unvaccinated) in South Africa. In reply he proceeded to spout the OAN/Fox/WQAnon theories about the virus and threw in a slur about Doctors passing out bogus information. At that point I asked for my keys back and left. I'm not sure if he has forgotten that I am a Doctor. Either way, I will find some other place to get my truck serviced or I'll just do it myself. I hope the ownership of Chevrolet ofd South Anchorage doesn't endorse such attitudes about ignoring a dangerous, contagious disease and insulting the people who are trying to save lives and prevent needless economic damage related to that disease. More
Arrangements were made with this dealership for an after hours pick up of our vehicle due to airline arrival time. We paid for a cab ride to the dealership and were dropped off with six bags only to find i hours pick up of our vehicle due to airline arrival time. We paid for a cab ride to the dealership and were dropped off with six bags only to find it was closed, gates locked. Several phone calls were made with no response. We had to walk to a hotel, luggage in tow, stay overnight and wait for them to open on Monday. My husband and myself had to miss an additional day of work, pay for a hotel and no one cared to correct their error. I absolutely would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Poor customer service and total lack of regard for anyone. More
DO NOT GO HERE! I live on the Kenai peninsula and drove up to shop for a vehicle a couple of months ago. I told them when I was looking that this would be for work purposes because I do a lot of driving al up to shop for a vehicle a couple of months ago. I told them when I was looking that this would be for work purposes because I do a lot of driving all over. I also told them we (my PREGNANT girlfriend and me) needed something safe to drive. And I told them we needed 4 wheel drive. They showed me the CarFax, driving history and the inspection that THEY performed on this truck. Everything looked fine. They showed me that there has been no damage or issues with the truck and the inspection went great. I bought it and drove home. So this past week, driving down the road, my truck lost control. We almost hit another vehicle in the other lane. Something fell off the bottom of the truck. I went out and picked up the part. I had to get a tow to get the car to a repair shop. ($95 dollars). I had to miss a day of work right before the holidays. I handed that part to the mechanic. He told me that whoever performed this inspection did NOT do their job properly and put me and my 5 month pregnant girlfriend at terrible risk. The part that i handed him was in perfect condition. The bolts on the CV axle we’re not tightened!!!!! They allowed me and my pregnant girlfriend to drive 150 miles in a truck that wasn’t safe and could of caused a huge accident! And they didn’t feel bad at all... all they had to say was “since it’s the holidays we’ll pay half the bill for repair.” I was on the phone with the the salesman Jerry multiple times that day asking him who did the inspection and he kept saying they would handle it and want me to get back on the road and my truck fix. Come to find out, they wouldn’t cover the tow truck, only half the repair and I missed out on my overtime day right before the holidays because of their lack of effort and low quality work. A poor inspection, a group of individuals who don’t hold themselves accountable on their mess up and clearly have NO ISSUE PUTTING THEIR CUSTOMERS AND CUSTOMERS FAMILIES AT RISK! I would highly recommend NOT to go there. They all lied to me. On top of all this, I’ve also been trying to get my new plates and warranty card. I’ve called Jerry multiple times. He told me he would call me back with information and never did. This is a very unreliable company with HORRIBLE customer service. More

I have an old review below of my previous dealings with this business, but it has gotten much, much worse. I bought a 2019 vehicle 8 months ago. It already has engine problems and repeatedly stalls out to the point it is not driveable. I called the service department to tow the vehicle in for repairs. I was provided the Chevrolet towing service number and called to schedule a tow. They towed my car to the wrong dealership. Now they can't tow it to the right place for another 3-5 days. In the meantime, they refuse to provide me a loaner vehicle. OLD POST: Bought a vehicle a few months ago with a trade in. The vehicle I traded was resold and this dealer did not submit a new registration and instead resold the vehicle with an expired registration. The buyer got a parking ticket which was issued in my name. I asked them several times to pay the ticket and they said they would. Recently I got another notice saying it was not paid. I went to the dealer to speak to the manager who apparently could not be bothered. Avoid this dealership. They are only insterested in making sales; they could not care less about taking care of customers. More
I called in the afternoon on a Monday with a bad oil leak, Mike and his crew squeezed me in and done with the oil change however there was an oil pipe leak/failure so Augustus and Mike worked together t leak, Mike and his crew squeezed me in and done with the oil change however there was an oil pipe leak/failure so Augustus and Mike worked together to repair my car by the next night! Jose gave me a courtesy ride home as well. Thank you Chevrolet South Anchorage!!! More
