Bought a used F-150, had issues a day later, sunroof broke, radio would not work, cv joints needed to be replaced. Contacted the sales department to help fix some of the problems, no help at all there. broke, radio would not work, cv joints needed to be replaced. Contacted the sales department to help fix some of the problems, no help at all there. Place is very dishonest, had to end up paying them $2k to take the car back a week later. Please avoid this place at all costs, their only interest is selling cars that obviously have issues and not wanting to do anything to resolve the problem. I am not one to complain or write reviews, but this place is bad news. Plenty of other reputable dealers to choose from More

Service department lies, has my truck for a 7 week period and “fixed” problem, it’s not fixed correctly and then try to charge for something else, called service manager to inform and just get a song and dan and “fixed” problem, it’s not fixed correctly and then try to charge for something else, called service manager to inform and just get a song and dance about how he has staffing issues, I also let GM corporate know and they have only escalated the issue to no avail, don’t trust this dealership for service More
DO NOT do business with Chevrolet of Canton! We just bought a truck from them and noticed the tires sounded funny during the test drive. The salesman said they were fine, they were just new and the tread needed to ware in. But said he will make sure the truck is inspected before we sign. The tires were signed off on as “excellent” on our paperwork. We signed and took the truck home. The next day the tires were still not feeling right so we took it to our Machanic. He said that they were all torn on the insides and needed an alignment. We brought it back to Chevy of Canton. Their service manager looked at the tuck and agreed that we needed all new tires. We spoke with our salesman and the manager. They kept giving us a hard time and arguing with us that if they were to put new tires on then they should have charged us more for the truck. They said all they can do is replace two of the tires. We said we wanted all four done and the manager said oh well, I can’t do that. We then explained that our family (who referred us) has spent over $300,000 in the last two years there on work trucks and if they didn’t want to replace all four tires then our family explained to us that they will not bring their business there anymore. The manager replied, “I don’t care if they come back or not. I’m only replacing two tires.” 😳 VERY unprofessional! Looks like Bill Holt Chevy just got some new clients! More

This shop performed standard 60k maintenance on my 2019 Suburban (01/31/2022) which ultimately led to need for transmission replacement. Two weeks after maintenance, transmission belt snapped and water pum Suburban (01/31/2022) which ultimately led to need for transmission replacement. Two weeks after maintenance, transmission belt snapped and water pump locked up on highway. Had to have the car serviced in South Carolina. A few more weeks, grinding and banging coming from transmission. Brought in to different shop, no visible damage but somehow, less than 2qts of transmission fluid. Service manager (other Chevrolet shop) said indicative of internal damage. Two weeks later, car was barely drivable, couldn’t shift gears, rumbling, revving too high, tires slipping on turns/throttle. We had to trade in the car, which I lost $6k in value due to all the damages that followed my 60k service, putting me upside-down on the vehicle which I was previously positive. We maintain our vehicle diligently. Additionally, $3,737.64 out of pocket for shop and rental costs. They performed service on my transmission, differentials, and brakes, and decided not to test drive the vehicle. Unlike all of the other RO’s I received, this shop did not note the name of the techs who performed service. After the 3rd time bringing the car into (other) Chevrolet shops, we discovered that the transmission needed replacement. It is unacceptable and negligent on the part of their service department for this to happen immediately after taking it in for a 60k maintenance and being told that the vehicle was fully inspected and serviced and had no issues. Stay away from the service department. They destroyed my car. Took my 2019 Suburban in for it’s 60k maintenance on 1/31 because I am well aware my powertrain warranty is over so I should They destroyed my car. Took my 2019 Suburban in for it’s 60k maintenance on 1/31 because I am well aware my powertrain warranty is over so I should probably keep it well maintained to avoid having issues. After I got my vehicle back, it drove fine on the way home, about a 15 minute drive. The following weekend I drove the car to Augusta after it had only been sitting in my driveway for about a week and a half, ran to the grocery store with it a couple times which is only a 5 min drive down the street. Halfway during my trip to Augusta I noticed a horrible squealing, like a belt issue while I was driving about 70 mph on the interstate. Not normal, after I just had a major service done. I was going to take it back to Chevy of Canton after I got back home from my Augusta trip, but guess what?! I didn’t even make it back. 45 mins into the drive while I was on my way home I got an overheat notification which then led me to get my car towed to a Chevy dealership who then told me that my water pump locked up due to belt failure. Hmm.. if I had an issue with my belt shouldn’t have Chevrolet of Canton notify me that I needed it replaced? Anywho, I dropped more money on getting the water pump and belt replaced. Fast forward to the beginning of April, my transmission started skipping. I went and took it to another Chevy dealership who then told me I had UNDER TWO QUARTS of transmission fluid and no visible leaks. I paid for another transmission service at that other Chevy dealership who then told me that there may be internal damage being that I drove around this whole time with barely any transmission fluid. Everything checked out fine, no codes, they released the car back to me. After driving it around for another week, it started skipping even worse. It is now currently back at the other Chevy dealer who previously serviced my transmission and said I would need to get a brand new transmission. And I’m over here like xxx?! I paid $1700 for preventative maintenance to only have to drop MORE money on getting repairs? Everything that the service department at Chevrolet of Canton touched has issues now. I’m out of pocket thousands of dollars and my Suburban is not drivable.Transmissions are on national back order and it could take MONTHS for all the parts to come in. Not to mention that it will cost me about $5700 plus tax to get it done. I’ve filed complaints with GM and they can’t really do much for me. Oh yeah, not to mention. They didn’t even report any of the maintenance I got done there. Not a single oil change, not even the 60k. So now I don’t have proof that my vehicle is well maintained. I never skip oil changes and tire rotations, I had them do my front brakes and an alignment as well. Luckily I saved all my RO tickets from their service department which apparently are really vague. Oh and another thing. They touched everything under the hood and DID NOT test drive it. The mileage in and out are the same. My advice, take it to a different Chevy dealership if you choose to get maintenance done by a Chevy shop. More
