Great Experience Finding Our Car We had the perfect timing of wanting a particular set of options and color combinations right as Volvo was ramping down 2018 production for 2019. Jimmy was swift in responding to initial queries and Sam Rothberg followed through with the rest of the buying process. Volvo Charlotte was the only dealership which had the XC40 I wanted with the 19" wheels and boy I am so glad I did not have to wait 4 months if I had to build one. Everything was done via phone conversation and I really want to thank both Jimmy and Sam for texting me pictures of my baby multiple times! Sam fedexed (with return shipping) and expedited the purchase process due to which I received the vehicle few days before I actually would have. I am so thankful that the vehicle was shipped immediately after my payment went through. On the day XC40 was to be shipped from Charlotte to Baltimore, I really appreciate Sam for waiting for the transport truck and expediting the whole process of shipping the vehicle to me and also devoting his time even outside working hours! Thank you Sam!!! The transport truck only had my lovely XC40 and I cannot forget the moment it arrived at the pick-up location here in Baltimore! Saved us thousands $$$! When my 22 year old broke down (in our Volvo S 60) at 1 am, on a major highway, 5 states, and 700 miles from home he was towed to a small repair shop. When my 22 year old broke down (in our Volvo S 60) at 1 am, on a major highway, 5 states, and 700 miles from home he was towed to a small repair shop. This shop diagnosed the problem as a part failure and proceeded to fix the car. Luckily, this shop did not have the ability to reprogram the cars computer so he took it to Tom and Gary at the service department of Volvo of Charlotte, NC. Tom and Gary figured out that what had been "FIXED" was not the cause of the breakdown. Rather my son had gotten gas that was mostly water at his last stop. This bad gas is what caused the breakdown. Instead of having to pay upwards of $3000.00 out of pocket we were able to file an insurance claim. Thank you Tom and Gary for being such consummate professionals; for staying late, for talking to me on the phone after hours, for fixing our Volvo, and for saving us such a large expense.
