Charlie’s has treated us poorly for the last time. We recently had an AC problem that needed a repair and not just a recharge. We called as soon as we knew we had a problem and told them what it was. We recently had an AC problem that needed a repair and not just a recharge. We called as soon as we knew we had a problem and told them what it was. We waited 3.5 weeks for an appointment and thought we’d get the repair but all they did was a diagnostic to tell us what we already knew. They had to order a part and would call us when they could schedule the repair. When we finally just called them, we were told we were back at the end of their very long wait list for service and it would be over a MONTH before we could get it done. We begged for something sooner but they had nothing. We ended up getting in to another dealership right away instead, but they couldn’t get started until Charlie’s canceled the claim they’d already started with our warranty. Charlie’s wouldn’t do that until we paid them out of pocket for their already useless diagnostic. This should have been a quick and completely warranty-covered process and has instead been an expensive exercise in frustration. Each and every encounter with Charlie’s has yielded sketchy, slow, poor quality or incomplete work and/or customer service. Never again. It will be well worth the extra travel to go elsewhere in the future. UPDATE: Charlie’s has reached back out and apologized for the way our situation was handled and provided a refund for the diagnostic they did. While we do very much appreciate this, we are still having the service done elsewhere in a much more timely and complete manner. More
