Poor Service Department Customer Service I brought my 2011 Sonata in for tire re-balancing and rotation service around 99k miles. At the time of the appointment I spoke with the service coor I brought my 2011 Sonata in for tire re-balancing and rotation service around 99k miles. At the time of the appointment I spoke with the service coordinator Jamie about another issue I was having where my steering column was making a clunking sound. She informed me she would make notes in my file for a fix next time I came in. I figured otu what was causing the issue and come to find out there was a warranty extension out to 100k miles for the problem (steering column MDPS). Now I call Chapman Hyundai to get it fixed, but because my car is 200 miles over 100k they won't fix it under warranty even though I spoke to them about it prior to 100k. I will never use their service department again. Purchased my last car through them....will never visit this establishment again. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. More
