Went in expecting it to be under warranty for an exchange. Informed the tires were sold to me w/ no warranty (not prorated either). Tried selling me a new tire instead with no sympathy for defective tire sold to me 6 wks prior. So, I went to a competitor. They sold me a new tire for $15 less w/ full warranty (and were very friendly about it too). Called to complain, told Service Manager (Mike H.) that I wasn't being treated like a loyal customer and that I wouldn't have bought the tires these initially if they would have explained that there would be no warranty on them. A 6 week tire shouldn't just fall apart. I said I would never go back. He offered free oil change, whatever (Oil change = $30, Tire = app $120). I no longer trust this dealership's service dept. They have a new employee every time I visit. Staff has been unfriendly to me in the past. Always trying to up sell unneeded services (said I needed new Hepa filter for $57 but wouldn't take care of it for me as they were the oil change). Also said I should do a $230 throttle clean? My car has 25k miles and is under full warranty. Why am I to shell out $230 for something that either be included in my bumper to bumper or not an issue at all. It's really too bad about the service dept. at this dealership. They give Hyundai a bad name. They must lose good customers left and right with their lack of customer service and money sucking vultures sales approach. I used to be a loyal customer, but now I will bad mouth the particular establishment to everyone I know. Seriously. Follow-up review: Revisited on 4/27. Service Manager Mike Hanna and Customer Relations Manager Jamie Cox took care of me and resolved any/all issues I've had with this dealership. They admitted the problem wasn't handled correctly and were determined to earn back my business. I respect them for their efforts and will now consider coming back to this establishment for future service work. Thank you Mike and Jamie for making me feel like a valued Hyundai customer. Also, to clarify previous post in case my wording was misleading: the tires that were sold to me were brand new. More
Everyone from the begining was going out of there way to please me. All the employees I came in contact with were helpful, and nice. I like Jaime. She has always been up beat and courteous. In addition, she has been very patient and understanding with me, especially when I cannot afford all of the repairs needed. At one point, you started charging for car washes -- that would have been enough to make me rethink seriously my decision to use you for my service.....especially oil changes. Yesterday, to my dismay, I was told you were only washing the outside. i don't know what the policy was before, but I do know that my car was always vaccummed and at least lightly dusted. Yesterday I got an outside car wash - and not a great one at that. Not a big deal -- but it says to me you are trying to cut corners -- which makes me wonder what other corners you are cutting????????? More
Nick was great from the first phone call. He listened to exactly what I wanted and found me a perfect car. I had gone to another dealership before Chapman and test drove a Sonata, but the salesperson only t exactly what I wanted and found me a perfect car. I had gone to another dealership before Chapman and test drove a Sonata, but the salesperson only talked about how beautiful the car was. Nick actually walked me around the car and explained the features and during the test drive let me experience the steering and the ABS brakes. He let me make my decision with no pressure. Nick made me feel like I was at a luxury dealership. He even came in on his day off to go through every feature of my new car before I drove it home. Chapman Hyundai is a very friendly dealership. I had a great experience with every person I dealt with. More
Greeted by Norm as soon as I drove up, got checked in right away. Cost of repairs was less than anticipated and done in a timely fashion! Nick was extremely helpful and honest and went the extra mile to make the new car buying process smooth. When I first arrived there, I was met by a female attendant, I do not have her name but she was not very helpful or knowledgable, she steered me wrong.
