I recently purchased a new 2012 Ford Escape from Chapman Ford VW. The salesperson Mike O'Brien was very efficient, knowledgeable and eager to answer any quesions, and not at all pushy. I thought I might not be able to find the perfect car for me, yet stay within my budget. However, it was my good fortune to walk into Chapman Ford Northeast and to be greeted by Mike Foster. You cannot meet this man and not like him! Mike is a very knowledgable, professional, and honest salesman, as well as a truly kind and friendly guy. His warm, engaging personality made me feel comfortable and put me at ease immediately. He listened to me and worked hard to find the best vehicle for me without pressuring me to go beyond my budget. In other words, Mike made the whole process, which I had been dreading, simple and painless. In addition.......from John Cifaldi, manager, who was extremely kind and helpful, to the people who efficiently handled my financial paperwork, to the service department personnel who flawlessly prepared my new vehicle for me, my interaction with the entire team at Chapman made for a very pleasant experience. This is the third Ford car I have purchased from Chapman Ford Northeast and from Mike Foster in particular. Mike is absolutely my "go to" car guy. I have been able to discuss my changes in circumstances over the years whether they be family or financial and Mike has not only listened but done whatever humanly possible to tailor an arrangement that worked for me. He will go to any length to help you and that includes long after the deal is done. I have sought him out months later to discuss service issues and he has always made himself avaialble to me as soon as I walk in the door. At this point I would not consider buying a car from anyone else and have recommended him to anyone who would listen especially my female friends because, unlike a lot of salesmen,I have every confidence that he will treat me and advise me as he would his own daughter. I have never bought a new car in my 44 years. I always got my cars from a family member who owned a dealership. Needless to say I was terrified at the prospect of bargaining for a new car. I did my research on the internet and knew which car I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Hank greeted me with a warm friendly smile and a firm hand shake. I told him exactly what I wanted. After a few minutes I was in the Ford Fusion and on a test drive. I decided that I did not like the scaled down version and I wanted various amenities: Leather, premium sound, etc. Hank made it happen within the budget I wanted and so far I am extremely pleased with the car buying experience. I haven’t had to take my car in for service yet, so I can’t comment on that. If their service department is as good as the sales experience, Chapman Ford will have me as a customer as long as I live in the Philadelphia are. More

During the sales process and after delivery of our new Ford Fusion, Pete was courteous, pleasant, and professional. He answered all our questions, kept us informed during and after sales, set up after delivery appointments, and made sure that items installed were done so, correctly. I tend to worry and Pete made sure we were stress-free. We will certainly recommend Pete to our friends. Hank was very efficient in dealing with an after delivery question and Mike was very helpful in seeing that post delivery items were installed in a timely manner. Like Pete, both Hank and Mike were courteous and professional. All in all, our experience with Chapman is A+s----we look forward to a long and positive relationship. More

I had an unexpected situation arise that prevented me I had an unexpected situation arise that prevented me from continuing in the vehicle I was in Ford Expedition XLT 2007 about 48 months into a 72 mont I had an unexpected situation arise that prevented me from continuing in the vehicle I was in Ford Expedition XLT 2007 about 48 months into a 72 month term when the lost of my primary job made it impossible to meet the monthly rate of the loan. I visited the dealer that I purchased from and they didn't help me even after purchasing not one but three prior vehicles from them in the past, I thought that good car credit meant something to them, boy was I wrong. I also visited many other dealerships that couldn't help me or wouldn't without asking for a huge down payment that I didn't have. Stressing and struggling month to month was the issue at hand I needed help with before the next payment was due. It caused me to be very depressed with feelings of hopelessness, until a friend told me to go directly to the Ford dealership since it was a Ford product I had and simply ask them to help me recover while considering only my car credit since my other credit had suffered from the loss of the primary job. Needing to get from under the weight and heaviness I found myself under with this open loan made it seem that there was nothing that could be done is what the others told me. I loved my Ford Expedition, and being attached made it difficult to have the conversation of letting it go, brought me to tears. For about a month I pondered with that thought and finally came to a decision to trust GOD and seek out the answers to questions that I had about how I could get the help that I needed and remain in a vehicle as well. This was something that the other dealers wanted to take away without considering that I needed a vehicle. Then the blessing came through the team of Brian Brooks and Bevan Camillo they worked hard to listen and consider all that I told them to get me a in a new car , although I wanted another SUV I got a five year upgrade and a lease option for two years with a payment that I can manage without stressing and being depressed about my situation. This is real customer service and great team work at it's best helping customers who have helped them by paying their car notes an remaining in good standing does mean something!! this I will always remember, and tell others about each chance I get, that Chapman Ford is a great place to do business in Philadelphia, and their team efforts are appreciated. They matter to me , they stepped up to the challenge and kept me as a customer. They did an awesome job!! Dealers should take notes and follow their example of putting their customers needs first and not forgetting people matter. Sometimes coming out of the box makes all the difference in the world, without customers their is no business. Well done Brain and Bevan. More
