Hello Jorge, Please accept our sincerest apology for the problems you are experiencing with your Jeep. The issues we were experiencing are not typical for the product or our dealership, and it has been years since we have seen this combination of coolant leaks all at the same time. Additionally, one of the coolant leaks (radiator) was so slight that it only manifested itself when the engine was cooling down, and then another component (oil cooler) required replacement a second time due to a new part defect. Regarding the status updates, we believe Roy was updating you daily during the week (please let us know if this was not the case). Yes, we were delayed in returning your call on Saturday (please accept our apology again), but this was due to reduced weekend staffing on an unusually busy Saturday. The service manager was busy with another customer when you called, so he immediately asked your service advisor to contact you. Phone records also indicate that the service manager did follow up you later in the afternoon at 1:37 pm regarding the update. Again, we would like to reiterate that these circumstances were not typical, and we hope that you will accept our apology. Derrick Goern Service manager

Cathy421, We’re sorry that you were left with the impression that we were overpriced. We researched the pricing for aftermarket engine mounts and found that the price for just the parts was well over $300. This does not include the labor to install them. The $1100 estimate we provided also included the diagnostic fee for the perceived transmission problem. The estimate also included the installation of genuine Chrysler parts, which includes a two year parts and labor guarantee. It’s been our experience that the less expensive aftermarket mounts are not manufactured to the same standards as the Chrysler parts, and therefore wear out prematurely. Yes, you could probably save a couple of hundred dollars in the short term, but you may end up having to replace the mounts two or three times during the expected life of the Chrysler mounts.
