This was the second visit as I was told by Patti to bring the car back in and they would see if they missed something. They checked everywhere on the car so I left it as they said we really want to find out the car back in and they would see if they missed something. I am very happy they didnt say just drive it till it gets worse. The car runs great now and I want John and Patti to know how greatful I am. My service advisor was great - Saved me good percentage off first quated price for repairs. The diagnosis of the problems I was experiencing with the vehicle took a while, but I didn't make an appointment, so that may have been my fault. The price was a little higher than I expected to pay, but I don't usually bring my vehicle to a dealer, so sticker shock was involved. The overall experience and attention to detail was great. Work was warranty. My only concern is with the reliability of the A/C doors as there are two more and they are clearly poor quality. I am surprised GM hasn't issued a recall or lifetime warranty o reliability of the A/C doors as there are two more and they are clearly poor quality. I am surprised GM hasn't issued a recall or lifetime warranty on such poor quality parts as it lowers your image. I have heard this failure is common and that the other doors are quite expensive to replace. I expect a common defect of this type to be replaced long after the warranty ends, as I have been spoiled by Toyota. This is my first experience since 1984 with GM when I owned 5 GM cars. I stopped purchasing at that time due to quality issues. More
I camen in because I had lost my keys to my 2001 Chevy Tahoe. I called at least 2 1/2 hours prior to coming to set up an appointment to ensure timely service. I spoke to Douglas Bonkowski. The outragous cost for me to get 2 keys made and an alarm clicker was unbelievable. What I was quoted on the phone and what I ended up paying was quite a difference. My total bill for the service was $205.25. Quote" that's not alot of money it could be worse, chevrolet has to make its money" The overall attitude from the service consultant was by far not a good experience. He was not only patronizing but had a very nonchalant attitude when I asked questions on the price quote versus the final cost. He then advised me that service had also noticed a drip and that I may need a new water pump. Quote" so you want to just add that to the bill it will be another $1000.00, you got that don't you". The overall nerve to assume whether or not the money would be available let alone no additional information was given in regards to the water pump. My overall expierence was not a good one. My family has been purchasing vehicles and getting service from them since 1978. As a second generation customer I was very disappointed. I also worked for GMAC for over 4 years. I would in the future not recommend anyone to your dealership especially for service and I plan to take my vehicle to another service shop if I do in deed need to have my water pump replaced. More
