Talked with the service advisor about an extended warranty claim. Everyone goes into the computer system these days - that should show if the customer has an extended warranty before you call them w warranty claim. Everyone goes into the computer system these days - that should show if the customer has an extended warranty before you call them with the estimated charges. And I know we're all busy these days, but a customer shouldn't have to hear that the advisor is "too busy" for a customer's request or that they're "doing you a favor" by calling CNA. More

First off, my service rep, Ernesto, was great....moved everything along efficiently with excellent customer rapport. My only complaint, really, was when I was leaving. I asked the guy who drove my car everything along efficiently with excellent customer rapport. My only complaint, really, was when I was leaving. I asked the guy who drove my car up if the shop had checked the tire pressure. He said, "Yes, they did". Unfortunately, when I checked the tire pressure in the dashboard LED (I have an HHR), having gone down the street a mile or so, it showed the same low pressure as when I'd had the car towed in. Now, this seems to be a minor point. But when you think of the fact a lot of dealerships wash your car after service, you have to ask yourself, what's more important? Getting a car wash or driving with low tire pressure? It's really a no-brainer, and when you take your car into a dealership, as opposed to hundreds of repair shops out there, you really do expect "the little things" to get checked. It's bad enough you darn near can't find air at gas stations anymore, so, frankly, I expect my dealer's shop to take care of these things. More
I dropped my car off at 7:20 indicating that it was not starting as it should, Ernest said he would call me with an update by 9 a.m. concerning the diagnosis and recommended repair. Not having received a starting as it should, Ernest said he would call me with an update by 9 a.m. concerning the diagnosis and recommended repair. Not having received a call, I called Ernest at noon and left a voice message asking him for the status. Still not hearing back, I called Ernest again at 1 p.m. and he answered his phone, I asked about the status of the repair and he asked if he could put me on hold for a minute while he checked. He came back shortly and reported that the diagnostics had not determined anything definitive, so we agreed on doing recommended maintenance consisting of engine decarb and injector flush. We hung up and less than five minutes later Ernest called back and said that diagnostics had determined that fuel line pressure was the problem. (Why didn't he know this five minutes earlier? I had dropped the car off almost six hours earlier!) I agreed that the fuel pressure regulator should be replaced to correct the problem. When I picked up the car three hours later it turned out that besides the repair to correct the fuel pressure problem that the maintenance was also done!!! I had assumed (obviously incorrectly) that the maintenance would not be done since the problem had been identified and I concurred that the repair be done. The lack of communication in addition to the miscommunication was more than a little disappointing. More
I spoke with Len before I brought in my 2009 Malibu. This is my wifes' car and she managed to get 2 flat tires while driving last evening. I discovered that I was unable to get to Chapman before getting the is my wifes' car and she managed to get 2 flat tires while driving last evening. I discovered that I was unable to get to Chapman before getting the tires fixed. Len assured me that Chapman would get the air out and refill them with nitrogen. I also asked him to please rotate the tires and have the oil changed. He checked to see if one of my windshield wipers would be covered under warranty (it was not) but he took my cupon to apply to it and the cost was reasonable. Wheb the car was delivered to me the oil change indicator had not been reset so he reset the indicator and checked the tire pressure level on all 4 tires. He was great to work with. More
Again I got worked in without an appointment for an oil change ,filter, lub. Waited less than 1 hour at a very reasonable cost for the service and got my inspection with no further service need at this tim change ,filter, lub. Waited less than 1 hour at a very reasonable cost for the service and got my inspection with no further service need at this time. Car wash with tire dressing. And even had Patti deliver the car to me on a hot day and she thought I had waited too long. This is a happy customer! Brian Dailey More

I took the Tahoe in for the a/c compressor fan which was ok and then had them look at a knocking sound in the steering column (had that looked at before on this tahoe). The knocking sound...we hear everyda ok and then had them look at a knocking sound in the steering column (had that looked at before on this tahoe). The knocking sound...we hear everyday. It's the same sound we had in our 2005 model. It was covered under warranty the last couple times we were in but this time we were going to be charged over $200 to get it repaired. We declined. We were told it's not dangerous to drive the car but it could be fixed to get rid of the sound. As far as the fan goes, there was a charge of $34 to look at the fan. According to the service mgr, if the fan had been broken we wouldn't have been charged but since it was fine, we were charged. We are confused as to what is covered under warranty. We have been very happy with our Tahoes and previous service, but in these economic times, we need to know what costs will be given to us and what's covered so we are clear at the time of arrival. Thank you. More
I brought mu 2009 Chevy TGraverse in on 8/12 for an oil change and tire rotation. On 5/13 I left for San Diego for the weekend returninh on 8/15. When I checked my e-mail I found my August OnStar report da change and tire rotation. On 5/13 I left for San Diego for the weekend returninh on 8/15. When I checked my e-mail I found my August OnStar report dated 8/13 indicating I had low tire pressure in all four tires(30-31 lbs). My tire pressure has consistently been either 35 lbs or very close to that. It would appear to me that the technician did not set the tire pressure for the correct pressure. More
