Dan, the finance manager, was a complete ROCKSTAR! We had some credit challenges, but Dan worked his magic and made it happen AND got us a better deal than promised! Atrocious My very first vehicle purchased was a 2010 Ford Fusion that I bought from Chapman Chevy and I was completely satisfied with customer service from Curt My very first vehicle purchased was a 2010 Ford Fusion that I bought from Chapman Chevy and I was completely satisfied with customer service from Curtis Ewing, so when it was time for to trade the vehicle in, I didn't second guess to come back to Chapman Chevy. I purchased a 2017 Chevy spark with the Chapman Chevy dealership last year around this time. I had a fiasco with a couple employees in regards to a 2017 Malibu initially purchased and having to return it after 3 weeks of having it and how unfair I was treated. The general manager "settled" the situation with a free dash mat and 2 free oil changes in which I did not utilize due to the company treating me poorly. The sales consultant was Stephanie Cantu, the finance manager Paul Elliot, and Chris Scott. I still have emails and text messages from the employees and pictures of the damage the vehicle had that happened 24 hours after purchasing the vehicle. I even asked if I could get a different color vehicle instead of black, and Stephanie stated that all the other sparks batteries were dead because they can't go around the every vehicle and start them on a regular basis due to mass inventory. I just received a phone call today, 11/9/18, at 9:33 am in regards to my oil life and seeing if I wanted to get it serviced. The lady I spoke with informed me that I have a maintenance plan on my vehicle to receive oil changes and 2 tire rotations at no charge which expires 2 years after purchase or at 24,000 miles. Upon signing the documents to purchase this vehicle, it was never discussed with about the maintenance plan. Paul Elliot only suggested gap insurance. I am very upset that I still am having issues with your dealership an entire year later. I spoke with general manager Chase Gibbs in regards to the manner on 11/9/2018 at 10:06 am, and he was rude and unapologetic at the discrepancies. He stated that the maintenance plans are stated on the car sticker, that no one reads. I am upset because they offered me 2 free oil changes at the beginning of this entire ordeal which is useless anyway due to me having a maintenance plan that was never discussed with me. I have spent roughly $95 for 3 changes during this time that I've had the Chevy Spark. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership and will never recommend them to anyone. More
Airbag Recall - Fustration having a lot of trouble getting airbags replaced for a couple of trucks that have Takata bags in them. Chapman does not seem interested in handling t having a lot of trouble getting airbags replaced for a couple of trucks that have Takata bags in them. Chapman does not seem interested in handling the issue. Been getting the run around about parts. We have a large fleet of Chevy and Ford vehicles. Ford had no issues taking care of the recall on this issue and Chevy dealerships in other states have a managed to get our vehicles in. We even located airbags for them and they wont use them. Super frustrated. More
Very easy to deal with I had financing already set when we went to buy our new truck. Wayne was able to get different financing with about 1% better interest rate. He provided all the options for additional purchase such as extended warranty, GAP insurance etc but was in no way pushy about any option. Very easy to deal with. Wayne himself was very personable and stayed late to help us out. Jeff Prince was our sales person. We had called back and forth before we came to the dealership on Sunday evening, arriving about 15 minutes before closing. He answered all our questions, understood exactly what we were looking for and provided good information on all the options and pricing for the various trucks we were interested in. Again, not pushy at all, very personable and stayed late. By the time we left, the truck was on empty and we still needed the other key fob, but he was going to take care of it and send it the next day along with some gas cards. Overall a very good experience. More
