They don't care about you I've always had trouble with my vehicle burning through tires. I've taken it in a few times and this most recent time they said I needed a new stabil I've always had trouble with my vehicle burning through tires. I've taken it in a few times and this most recent time they said I needed a new stabilizer arm. Ok, if it fixes it. But I bought this vehicle new from them (now it has 60k miles and of course well out of warranty). Set an appointment for 9:30am. Service Rep asked me at least 3 times which tires were wearing and I kept saying which one but the truck is right out your door (literally within 10ft) go look--he never looked. I asked him to also check the brakes which were grabbing. Said he would call within an hour with an analysis because techs should look at it within 10 minutes or so. 3PM still no call. I called in and he said they hadn't look at because a car was stuck on the rack. About an hour later I got a call saying I needed to put new tires on it before they could do anything. (They could have just rotated back tires to front). So I went picked up the vehicle, put 2 new tires on (rotating 2 back tires to front) and took it back next morning. Said I needed it by noon and surprisingly got a call about 10:45 saying it was ready. I asked if I could get a shuttle and he said no problem we'll send one right out. Long story short I had to call again and finally at 2:15 the shuttle driver showed up. I think this is the manager's fault. When I dropped the vehicle off, the manager (assumed manager since he was telling people what NOT to do) wouldn't let the driver take me until another driver got back and basically said the wait could be up to an hour (every hour on half hour). The manager just seemed like he was wandering around and he should have jumped in and drove me. I needed to go just a few miles down the road. Remember, this was my second time there in 2 days. Well I picked up the vehicle and only time will tell if they fixed it--i have my serious doubts. I asked what they found on the brakes and the service rep said "oh your brakes are fine". I seriously doubt they looked at them because it didn't say anything on the paperwork about brakes and they were still grabbing. I don't think these guys listen and they certainly don't portray an attitude of caring (wouldn't walk 10 feet to look for himself, 3 hour wait for a shuttle, Manager wouldn't let driver go or drive himself etc.). I had quit taking my vehicle to Chapman for oil and simple stuff and I'm going back to Thorobred where I have always received great service and am made to feel like they care for major stuff. More

I looked around the car lot for 20 minutes before I was able to find someone to help. He then wasted half my day trying to locate the car and wanted to try and push another car on me that I did not want. I contacted the Internet Sales manager the next day and he avoided all my questions and finally came out and said "well that cars in Vegas so I don't even know why its on our site". This is all after he tried to schedule me to come back to the dealership for a test drive. POOR SERVICE ALL THE WAY AROUND More

Tom, my service tech, did a great job with the reservoir replacement and even upgraded my software to fix a dragging shifting issue. They're the best!! More

Even a drive by is a waste of time. Please do not go here. I traveled 3 hours to see a car they had on the lot, only to find the car completely trashed inside and out. I mean it looked l Please do not go here. I traveled 3 hours to see a car they had on the lot, only to find the car completely trashed inside and out. I mean it looked like someone just took it on a cross country Baja race. I'm told to not judge the car on how dirty it was, only to then find tons of scratches, tears, chips, and pieces peeling off the car. After telling the salesman I'm not interested in their car, they then proceed to tell me there isn't anything else in my price range. So I go on their website for maybe 45 seconds and find the same car in a different color and ask about it. They tell me they would be willing to do it, but for 1,000 more. Exact same car, same miles. After waiting 45 minutes, the manager comes and tells me that the car, which has already passed their inspection, just didn't feel safe to drive. It's been through their inspection! Pleaseeeeee do not waste your time goin here! More

He recommended a chevy malibu. His rep jarmarcus drove one to my house less than 3 miles to see the car and I loved it. Leg room was perfect. After jumping through rings of fire (did I mention again a cancer patient ( I was told to come and sign the deal. When I got there I was told that John Chapman's daughter wanted my car and a,service loaner was pawned,off on me. Well I signed the paperwork gave chapman my $1000.00 and thought I had a new car I spent a total of 7 long hours,in this dealership. Well about 2 weeks later I get a call from Rick the finance guy telling me that there was a,problem with my deal but I was fully funded. I was upset . Rick told me he would call back. Lie number 2. I called 17 times sat and sun to speak to anyone no return call till I left a message for John chapnan. Tim Mort called me back and assured me that everything would work out lie 3. I spent another grueling 7 hours in the dealership only to be told that I need $5000 to put this deal together. All I could as a AARP over 50 was cry. Why go to this dealership if all you are going to get is lied too. More

It wasn't that they were so personable and friendly (although they were both of these also), it was they knew what they were doing, they knew answers to all my questions and made me the deal that I had to have to walk out with my new truck. I love my new truck and I'm thankful I dealt with the guys at Chapman Chevrolet. More
AMAZING FIRST EXPERIENCE I had an amazing experience at Chapman Chevrolet Tempe. This was my first time buying a new car and with the horror stories you hear about getting tak I had an amazing experience at Chapman Chevrolet Tempe. This was my first time buying a new car and with the horror stories you hear about getting taken advantage of I was initially hesitant to buy new. Let me tell you, I could not have had a more wonderful experience. Joe and Andy (I am sure others behind the scenes) worked about four days on my particular situation. They promised me that they wouldn't give up and worked diligently, overcoming obstacles that could have prevented me from being able to do business. If the time and dedication alone wasn't enough to make me a loyal Chevy owner, the professionalism and genuine care for me as a person sealed the deal. I am the proud owner of my first car, 2016 Chevy Cruze LT and I am so pleased! I love my car! I had an amazing first experience and I will continue to go to Chapman Chevy Tempe for all of my future needs! Thank you Joe and Andy, I don't know how I would have done it without you.
