BMW i3 v. 2.0 I recently had the pleasure of working with Craig on my second i3 lease. Craig helped me with the first lease about three years. The experience was so great, and I loved the car so it was an easy decision to go back to Craig for version 2.0! Craig was fun to work with and very knowledgeable about the features of the car, especially what changed from the prior version. Overall it was a great experience; quick and easy without any hassle. He even helped me setup a “new shoe fund” (inside joke). I highly recommend Craig to anyone that is considering a new BMW. More

Even though I said I was shopping at multiple dealerships he never tried to pressure me into anything. Unfortunately I found a 530i in my hometown in San Diego I was willing to drive to Phoenix to purchase from them if the deal fell through. I would highly recommend this dealership espically this salesman. More

I was first exposed to Craig when I was last in the market for a M235i and his vast knowledge of every car on the lot and clear passion for BMW vehicles inspired me to stay in touch and give him a buzz when I was looking to get my wife into an i3. As software engineer and car enthusiast I thought I knew the car front and back, but that was before spending some time with Craig as he showed off some of the lesser known features of the vehicle. The entire transaction was smooth and he was very accommodating to my busy work schedule and limited amount of time. We will no doubt use Craig again for future BMW purchases. More
Car Show Experience, Chapman BMW on Camelback, No Pressure So my wife and I decided our 18-year old BMW wagon was ready to be passed down and we had to replace it. Then our Small SUV broke down and we had to look at another car at the same time. We were looking to buy/lease two new cars. We were hoping for a BOGO, but couldn't find one. A friend recommended we speak with Craig Rusin. We went to BMW because our prior experience was 18-years great. When I arrived I asked for Craig and, lo and behold, I was talking with him. I explained I wanted to replace my SUV and possibly my wagon. He asked a few questions and we agreed to look at the X5 and the X3. Within 10 minutes we were in a parking lot test driving the X3. Craig's product knowledge made me feel like I was at The Phoenix Car Show which I attend each November. He explained the "Hold" feature and the benefit in traffic. Craig sat in the back seat and asked if he looked cramped. When I said "No," he replied, "and I am six-four!" I test drove the car on roads I drive every day so I could compare with my current cars. He sat quietly while I assessed the cabin's sounds and road noise (Virtually NONE). Craig had tremendous knowledge of the specifications (recommended tire pressure, the difference between SPORT mode and ECO-Pro mode gear ratios, and back seat size compared to the competition) and he never mentioned "Cup Holder" once - Thank you. He also was able to describe the various packages and told me if I built my car online he would find it or help with the ordering process. I said I needed to have my wife see the car and drive, so Craig told me his schedule and did not rush me to pick her up. He knew I was in the market and he did not rush my family's car buying process! I told him I was aware it was the end of the month and I was aware of the special deals that may expire and he never brought it up again as a reason to buy now. After my wife's test drive (both the X3 and X5) we selected a different X3 configuration and closed the deal with a different package and features at 9:55 PM. Seriously, 31-minutes later; I checked the clock (10:26 PM) as I drove the new X3 off the lot. We're loving our new X3 and highly recommend Craig Rusin and the whole Chapman BMW On Camelback team. Two days later, Caleb Spurlin (BMW Genius) walked me through how to actually use the X3. Two weeks later he emailed me and invited me to come in and clear up any questions or learn some tips and tricks. We liked our experience with Craig and his team so much we did it again the next day. It was 114 degrees, late on Friday afternoon and I had been through a tough previous 24 hours. My first thought with the tire was get to the dealership - they will take care of me. I was right. Pulling into the service department, I was greeted by the kindest service attendant in the world with a very bright smile. I really needed that smile. My service rider was not there so he asked Brice Smith to help me. Great choice! He was nice, efficient, reassuring, smiling, kind and competent. A new tire later, I was back on my way. I always leave this facility feeling that they treated me like they would a member of their family. More

Not only was I firm on my budget, I was also on a fairly rushed timeline. I gave Craig a list of everything I wanted, was in the office for a few minutes and by the end of the day he texted me (my easiest way of communication) all my options. He was able to get me the exact vehicle I wanted and even worked me into a better price than expected. I'm loving the new x3 and highly recommend purchasing from Craig and the rest of the team at BMW on Camelback. Mike Anderson did all the financing with me and was extremely quick and throughout through the process. Got me the warranties I wanted and still made sure I was within my budget and protected. Caleb Spurlin walked me through how to actually use the X3. I went from a very basic Kia to this fancy x3 so I needed all the help I could get. He was great and made sure I could figure out all the little details and operations. Really great team over there! So glad I got to work with them and had just an easy process. More

I had called and another scheduler answered (not sure of his name), and rather than directly helping me, he just transferred me to my SA’s voicemail. Not wanting to leave a message, because I know how many voicemails they do receive, I hung up and called back. This time Veronica answered. She was amazing. Truly all about customer service. She set me up for my appointment. Arrived at BMW. Surprised (very surprised), that there was a remodel going on, and I had not been informed ahead of time. This may seem like a small thing, but the day before I had turned down a Loaner Request from Veronica, and had I known, that the customers would be packed into an ice-cold trailer, with chairs / clients elbow-to-elbow I would have secured the loaner. I did try to secure the loaner at this time, but they didn’t have any available now. So everything that you do, is in a trailer. One trailer for SA, a couple trailers for the Sales, and another for the Customer Lounge. Well, I have an amazing car salesperson, Bob Hirsch, who is always so welcoming, that he offered me a warm place at his desk! I gladly accepted. Speaking of amazing salespersons, if you ever get an opportunity to listen to Craig Rusin handle a call, where the prospect only wants to have a $700 monthly car payment, on a $70K car, without a down payment, you are in for a treat! Craig, the resident BMW expert there, knows his market, clients, car, and financing inside and out. He is truly amazing, and very skilled in being straightforward, but diplomatic. The service appointment seemed to go according to plan. The Service Advisor, Bobby, kept me up-to-date on everything throughout the process. I was a bit concerned that my car was going to go through the car wash. I had washed and waxed it Sunday, and I’m particular about what goes on with my car. Bobby had everything under control though. While walking around the dealership, I ran into Curtis, a new Service Manager there. He also gave a shout out to make sure my car was being serviced and not washed. My service was done, and I was pleased. Bobby had parked my car in an end space, with A/C running and ready to go. Upon driving home, the warning light went on, for tire reset. I called Bobby – it was not a big deal, I just needed to reset the instrument, which I did. I get home and pull into the garage, and decide to look at a few things on the instrument panel. Discovered, that my run flat tires, now had just under 42 lbs of pressure in each one of them!! That was not acceptable. Regardless if tire pressure expands, it was already 105+ when I dropped off the car, so any adjustment for heat, should have been factored in. My standard tire pressure, per the door info, is 32 Front/ 35 Rear. I understand the need to put a couple extra lbs. in to keep the warning light stable, but to fill it 25% more than the recommended amount, is not cool with me! I’m just not sure you should try to out-guess 82 BMW engineers, The Tire and Rim Association, The European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization (N. American and E.U. Standards Organizations), and the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS 571.110) that dictate the load requirements. I did let a little bit of air back out of each tire and monitored with a digital tire gauge to reach the appropriate settings. Bottom line is, if you are going to overinflate the customer’s tires, you might first, want to ask the customer, what their preference is. There is wide speculation on the bimmer forums about why some dealerships do this. My husband and I have always enjoyed going to this dealership, and we do look forward to the new showroom. Although there is a new BMW dealership being built in Arrowhead, just a few miles from me, I wouldn’t think of really, leaving Bob, Alan, Bobby, and Doug. More
