We had several loaner cars that were expected to be returned on the previous evening, unfortunately they were not. We proactively called the customer prior to his appointment to save him an unnecessary trip if he was unable to wait during the service. We were happy to perform the service at the scheduled time if he was able to wait or to reschedule the appointment when a loaner became available. Thank you for the feedback – your opinions matter to us. We regret the experience you had and apologize for the inconvenience. Our inspection of the vehicle in January did indicate a leaking power steering pump and a recommendation to reseal the pump. Additionally, there was engine oil leaking at the oil drain plug due to a badly crushed drain plug washer. The oil drain plug threads were listed as ‘possibly stripped and may require additional repairs’ – this was an unknown until the drain plug could be removed to replace the washer. Lastly, the oil pump was found to have a leak and recommended to be resealed. We would like to offer to reinspect the vehicle with you at your convenience if you would like.
