Worst Car Dealership Experience EVER! I went into Matthews-Hargreaves to sell my vehicle after receiving an instant cash offer from Kelly Blue Book’s website. I was told to meet Tom Schne I went into Matthews-Hargreaves to sell my vehicle after receiving an instant cash offer from Kelly Blue Book’s website. I was told to meet Tom Schneider but he was too busy so I met with Frank Buscemi. Frank took down my information and asked for the keys and said he would be right back. After a little bit he returned saying that he had bad news. My car had an airbag recall (Takata) on it and that the car was “unrepairable”. Frank said that he would only be able to offer me $1,000 today as the car could not be fixed. He was so sure that the car was unrepairable that he even printed off the recall to shove it in my face. He must have repeated it almost 10 times that the car was not able to be fixed. I was confused at the time and since he was pressuring me so much, I couldn’t even take the time to read or google the recall on my vehicle. I didn’t want to settle for just $1,000 so I left to re-evaluate. After a quick call to a Honda dealership I found out that I could get my car fixed the same week. I also googled if the Takata airbag recall was unrepairable for some vehicles and I couldn’t find anything on the web that stated that manufacturers were not able to repair the affected vehicles. I really don’t know why Frank decided to lie to my face over and over again but now that I think about it more he probably wanted to scare me into selling him the vehicle for such a low price. This is by far the worst car dealership / customer service experience I have ever had. When a person trying to gain your business repeatedly lies to you basically to try to trick you into believing that your vehicle is now worth nothing…there is something really really bad going on at that dealership. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS DEALERSHIP!!! More

Avoid this dealer! We've been through this with these idiots before! They're the worst dealer we've ever dealt with... We've bought new cars every year or so for the las We've been through this with these idiots before! They're the worst dealer we've ever dealt with... We've bought new cars every year or so for the last 15 or so yrs. Our 1st new car came from this dealer, what a headache. However, their in the neighborhood, so went went back years later to try again. What a nightmare, they could care a less about a customer base.. Walt, the general manager, allows these clowns to walk all over him. Our 1st experience years ago was a fully loaded purchase of nearly 25000, and thatd nearly 14 years ago.. They treated us like xxxx then.. We moved on, bought others elsewhere, then returned. What a huge mistake, they make your day the worst they possibly can, in my humble opinion that is. When they do warranty work, it's really bad! We've had them do some major stuff on the interior of our most recent, again fully loaded 30k, purchase, they destroyed the interior. Sort of fixed it, then, after four or five visits, finally got mostly right. Then, after a leather seat cover replacement that never stretched as promised, we went back after the specified allotted time had passed, insisted they fix it, they said no! Avoid this awful place if you value your dignity, or at the very least, your $$$$$ More
