The service is knowledgeable, prompt, and reasonable. It’s tough to do better that that. It’s tough to do better that that. More
Supposedly got an oil change Thursday 6/14 and tires rotated, as I mentioned that I’m about to embark on a 10 hour drive and wanted to make sure everything is good. I didn’t notice it until now but my C rotated, as I mentioned that I’m about to embark on a 10 hour drive and wanted to make sure everything is good. I didn’t notice it until now but my Chev app status says I need an oil change soon, since it’s down to 19%. Sure enough when I checked my car’s dashboard it says the same! Well I’m already 800 miles away so I can’t go back to the dealership - but thanks to Google it’s more than likely that they forgot to reset the oil status. Hopefully that’s the case. Last time I was there, they said I need my cabin filter cleaned (which I skipped) so told the guy up front that I don’t mind having this cleaned now. He said not to worry but they’ll let me know. But looks like I didn’t need it (or they didn’t bother to check) when I got the bill as it was only the oil change charged. Tire rotation was free since I bought tires from them (but I still think Costco was better because in addition to free tire rotation, they also offered to fix flats for free etc.). I also got an email about changing my wipers, but I don’t think they checked it because I know one of my wiper’s rubber is loose. Finally the cashier did not apply my points for this service, so still shows 0 points. I always get some points after servicing my Chevrolet in a dealership. I even gave the lady my account # so I can redeem my points, which she did (even though on the Chevy app I made sure to check the “use points” for this service). So I don’t know if it’s still worth to go to a dealership vs a local mechanic who I feel may give me a more personalized service. More
