My husband and I went to Central Auto Group looking for a VW Atlas and when we arrived we first stopped to look at the Ford trucks. As we were looking at a 2022 Ford F-250 a young sales man came out to assis VW Atlas and when we arrived we first stopped to look at the Ford trucks. As we were looking at a 2022 Ford F-250 a young sales man came out to assist us. We discussed the cost of the truck briefly and asked him to speak with his manager and let us know if we could purchase at a certain price if we paid cash and wave the dealer fee of $3500 above MSRP and then give us a call and let us know. We then headed towards the other side of the lot towards the Volkswagens. Before we even parked the young man from the Ford side called and let us know that yes they could wave the fee. We let him know that we would get back to him because we had an appointment. We parked and Dustin Brown came out to greet us. Dustin was great he showed us around and was very knowledgeable and attentive. He spent a lot of time with us going over all the different models that we were interested in. He knew the answers to all of our questions and had a great personality! The sad part was the Sales manager had a very bad attitude when we tried to discuss cost with him. He refused to budge at all on the cost until I mentioned that the Ford manager agreed to wave their dealer fee of $3500 if we paid cash. My husband asked him for a price out the door cash and he gave us one and we all agreed. We went through all the paperwork with Dustin only for the sales manager to come back and say we had to change the price and that he didn’t include the sales tax. He became very hostile and was very rude so we walked away. The worst part was I felt bad for Dustin he was such a great salesman did a fantastic job was professional and took the time to explain everything and at the end of the day his managers xxxx poor attitude ruined the sale for him. More
