We came to the dealership not expecting to buy, when we arrived, we where greeted by the most friendly sales person ever, BB, he was FANTASTIC. He never tried to talk me into a different vehicle. I knew wh arrived, we where greeted by the most friendly sales person ever, BB, he was FANTASTIC. He never tried to talk me into a different vehicle. I knew what I wanted, and he totally recognized that and went with it. He explained every single step of the way about the vehicle, but recognized that I had heavily re-searched this vehicle before purchase. I really appreciated him NOT trying to talk us into the next model up (Sonata) and told me why the Elantra is the best choice. He didn't skip a beat! Brian McKenna, was great too, I could tell he was really crunching numbers to get us into our new car, and take care of the bulk of our trade in (I had 2k negative equity) he was very polite, respectful and understanding when the numbers where just too much. Joe Rodriguez was great, until we opted out of the added warranties. I understand that he has to sell warranties, but our auto insurance covered pretty much everything the dealership was offering already. When we declined the warranties, I could tell he wasn't pleased and his whole demeanor changed. I'm sure his job is very stressful, but a poker face would have been nice. We politely declined countless times, and he kept trying to talk us into another point of interest and another year for financing. I know my husband was within seconds of calling off the deal and us walking. And everyone else's hard work would have been wasted. We also had a little talk with Mr. Carlos Hildago, about our registration issues (we where hoping to register the vehicle in Texas since we're Texas residents) but since it's a brand new car, we ran into a few issues. BUT He made sure our note didn't change, and helped us cover the gap (NV is VERY expensive compared to our home state)but like I said, he didn't skip a beat with making sure we could keep our note the same and really helped us out with that. He completely understood the sticker price shock for us misplaced Texans (60$ per year vs 400+ per year) Again, back to BB, he was terrific with my little boy. He made sure my husband and I could afford this car, and completely understood when we were ready to walk. I highly recommend him. He's also fluent in Spanish,so if you need a Spanish speaking sales rep,he is your man! Would I recommend them to a friend, YES. Would I return to purchase another car, YES. My husband is thrilled to not hear me complain about my poor AC or the gas bill my old SUV came along with, I'm thrilled to be in a beautiful new car that is sleek, sexy and very functional. And my little boy was just thrilled to not be in there any more! More
When i a got out my car their was one gentleman standing right in front. As i was walking up he walked right up to me and introudced is self as Anthony Franich. Then he procced by asking me what i was looki right in front. As i was walking up he walked right up to me and introudced is self as Anthony Franich. Then he procced by asking me what i was looking for in particular. And i told him i was looking for a hyundai elantra then he walked me right up to a few older models then i told him no im looking for the newer look then he showed me a black one. Then he said come on let take it for a test drive. So he drove the car out the parking lot then we drove to a side street and he got out and told me to drive. I got in the car when i first got in that driver seat the first thing that came to my mind was i love this car and it's mine. Anthony was so great he even let me drive the car all the way to my house to show my boyfriend the car. When we first pulled up to my house my boy friend was already in the park in lot taking grocerys in the house. Anthony ask him if he could give him a hand with ther grocery's i thought that was so helpful of him. Not only that he even took me to the bank to get some paper work that i needed. I think he has very Great customer skills. I deal with customers on my job to and feel like he went above and beyond like we are expected on my job.I would defintily refer a friend to him! Thanks a bunch Anthony Franich! Sincerly, Latoya Clark More
This is the 3rd car I have bought from Anthony from Centenial Hyundai. Once again he has far exceeded my expectations. There is never any pressure from Anthony. He is an honest upront salesman. I know, Centenial Hyundai. Once again he has far exceeded my expectations. There is never any pressure from Anthony. He is an honest upront salesman. I know, sound crazy. I tell him what I want and he delivers. Walked in at 5 on Friday night and drove home in my new car at 8:30. Doesn't get any better then that. I can't figure out if I like The Hyundai brand or Anthony more. More
During my car buying experience, I had the pleasure of working directly with three stupendous men! I met Anthony Franich when I stopped by the dealership for my first visit to check out how a base mode working directly with three stupendous men! I met Anthony Franich when I stopped by the dealership for my first visit to check out how a base model Santa Fe felt. Anthony stuck with me through multiple days of test drives, several each visit, questions, measuring of leg space, etc. He was always very concerned about my comfort level while driving, bec I kept squirming in the base model. Then I tried the limited version. He could tell the seats fit me perfectly by the look on my face and lack of changing seat positions every 3 minutes. Although he did not push me toward it, just listened to me and assisted me at every turn. He explained the functions of the car and even found Bluetooth capabilities for me on my "dinosaur" phone to demonstrate with. Lol From start to finish, I purchased the limited SF and am THRILLED, Anthony was considerate, helpful, and courteous. Very easy to work with. I found everyone I spoke to, whether for technical questions or just polite convo, to be super friendly and helpful. This dealership has professionals that work together for everyone's satisfaction! I also had the pleasure of taking one test drive with BB (Bill). He was very informative and super friendly. Another great guy from Hyundai's Centennial dealership. Humorous and knowledgeable. A "gentle giant". :) After Anthony sold me the car I spent some time with Joe Rodriguez, one of the Financial Managers. By the time I met him I was tired and hungry, but Joe was very efficient and clear with explaining the paperwork that we accomplished that part swiftly. Joe was also clearly a veteran financial guide, who's expertise and kindness were evident. Thank you Centennial Hyundai, particularly Anthony, BB, and Joe, for an amazing car buying experience!! I'll be sure to spread the word! More
My salesman, Jesse Edwards was exemplary. He did everything within his control to do his job well. His manager, Carlos Hidalgo was pleasant to work with and apologized for the time we had to wait. everything within his control to do his job well. His manager, Carlos Hidalgo was pleasant to work with and apologized for the time we had to wait. After coming to a sales agreement, my friend Steve and I had to wait for OVER AN HOUR to start the paperwork with Ray Fernandez, the finance manager. This was supposedly because he was with another customer and they only had one person to handle the closing transaction. Mind you, this was an all cash transaction. At the very least, this is bad customer service. They had plenty of sales people standing around the whole time. They should staff the dealership with at least two people trained to finish the paperwork at all times. I don't know how many customers would be willing to wait OVER AN HOUR just to start the paperwork, after already enduring a long painful price negotiation. Once we got to Ray Fernandez' office (whose name is Ramon Fernandez on the paperwork), we briefly talked about the warranty that came with the car. I verified with him that the car had a bumper to bumper warranty for a full year, and a longer warranty for the other main components. He suggested that I probably wouldn't be interested in any other warranties. I responded that as long as I had bumper to bumper warranty for a full year, that should be sufficient. He then had me sign the rest of the paperwork. On May 4th, two days later I got a flat tire while driving less than 25 miles an hour. There was no visible road hazard for me to avoid. I limped to the nearest parking lot which was less than a mile away and was completely surprised that my brand new car DIDN"T HAVE A SPARE TIRE! This glaring omission was not mentioned by my salesman or any representative from Hyundai. Every potential buyer should be forewarned, that something that most people assume would come as standard equipment for a car is not on this particular model. My friend Steve owns a 2007 Hyundai Elantra which came with a spare tire. Luckily, he was available to help and I ended up borrowing his spare tire, which the tow truck driver installed for me. When I spoke to the dealership the following day, Cody, their service department representative told me that the best they could do was replace it with a new tire at dealer's cost, which was $102 plus tax, since I didn't buy any extra warranty protection on the tires. I then spoke to Skip Shakely, the general manager, who told me that he wasn't able to assist me any further. I told him about my meeting with his finance manager where he never mentioned that I could purchase additional warranty on the tires, since they weren't part of the bumper to bumper warranty. Mr. Shakely insisted that he didn't believe that his finance manager would omit this part since I signed all the paperwork including rejection of all warranties. I assured him that my witness was with me at the time of the signing and he can vouch for the fact that he didn't mention one single word about an available warranty for the tires. He then said that this conversation was aggravating him and had nothing else to say to me. I then shopped around for the exact same tire and found out that Discount Tire's everyday price was only $120. I sincerely doubt that Planet Hyundai offered the replacement tire at "dealer's cost." Considering the fact that this tire was less than THREE DAYS old, and I wasn't driving erratically or aggressively in any way to cause it's damage, I would seriously question whether this tire has a manufacturer's defect. On May 12th, ten days later I got another flat tire! Yes, that is TWO FLAT TIRES in EIGHT DAYS! This is especially disturbing since I've been driving the same roads with my previous car and not have had a flat tire in 5 years! For the second flat tire, I went to Discount Tire and never even called Planet Hyundai about this second incident. Considering how poorly they treated me, I have ZERO confidence that they would assist me in any way. Bottom line, Planet Hyundai needs to staff their dealership better. Their general manager was more interested in keeping track of his bottom line versus taking care of a customer who was forced to replace a three day old tire. He didn't care to listen to a customer's feedback on how his sales staff conducted their warranty presentation. My advice to any potential buyer is to run away from this dealership, go to their competition if you still want a brand new Hyundai that doesn't even come equipped with a spare tire! More
I've been buying my family's autos and LDVs for decades. I have never had more fun than the time spent with Chris Rooney. I'd searched all over Las Vegas, through every make Nissan, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Vol I have never had more fun than the time spent with Chris Rooney. I'd searched all over Las Vegas, through every make Nissan, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Volkswagen for the ideal small car. Most salesmen where pushy and impatient. Their quotes were all about $20,000, for a compact. So decided to send emails to the dealers, even dealers in California and Utah. I happened to send an email to a fellow Chris Rooney, at Centennial Planet Hyundai, Nevada, asking about the available colors, models and prices of the small Hyundai sedans. He was the only salesman to return an itemized quote, that was significantly lower than all the other quotes. My wife and I visited Chris and spent a very enjoyable evening completing the easiest of finance applications and a purchase contract. In no time at all we said goodbye and drove away very happy owners of a new Hyundai. Many thanks Centennial Hyundai and Chris, you are the best in the west. More
This was without a doubt, the best new vehicle purchasing experience I have ever experienced. While my wife was doing some shopping nearby, I decided to stop at this dealership to just look at some of the n experience I have ever experienced. While my wife was doing some shopping nearby, I decided to stop at this dealership to just look at some of the new cars - without any plan to purchase one. I was met by one of the sales reps, Mr. David Shakely. David was courteous, polite, and very professional. We actually visited for quite a while before even looking at any cars, and there was absolutely no pressure to do anything but look as long and as many cars that I wanted. David did an excellent job showing each car, explaining the differences, options, etc. - very knowledgeable!!! What he didn't have the answer to, he went and researched the info to my satisfaction. I was so impressed with everyone I encountered at this dealership, I went and picked up my wife and brought her back to check out some of the cars. After a couple of test drives, we decided on a new Sonata and ended up purchasing one that afternoon. When it was time to complete all the "paper work" Ray Fernandez had everything ready, and it was a painless few minutes to complete everything. Everyone we met at this dealership made us feel like a valued customer, and were all very friendly - absolutely no "hassle" or "pressure" to buy a car. This dealership rates my highest rating, and I can recommend them without reservation. More
Just bought my first Hyundai today, from Anthony Franich with help from Brian McKenna. I normally hate the whole car shopping and buying experience, 50% attributed to the whole sales process and 50% attribu with help from Brian McKenna. I normally hate the whole car shopping and buying experience, 50% attributed to the whole sales process and 50% attributed to how my husband handles the whole sales process. But I have to say today's experience was 3 hours of the best time I have ever spent at a car dealer. I had done my homework on the Sonata that I wanted. We were greeted at the door by Anthony, and I felt comfortable right away. He showed us one Sonata that I wasn't interested in. I asked a question about the navigation package and he showed us another Sonata. Since I have driven them before (part of my research) I let my husband do the test drive. Anthony was so patient with him, and his questions. My husband mentioned that he liked a different color car, and Anthony showed us an Azera, which we also ended up test driving. I was actually starting to change my mind about what I wanted, but instead of trying to help me convince my husband that I wanted a different, more expensive model, Anthony explained why the Sonata was the best car for us. I was sold at that point. Anthony helped convince my husband that he was not going to get a better deal at any other dealer, and because we actually had a bottom line in mind, brought Brian in to get that done. I'm sure that they were glad to see us go when all was said and done, but I must say that if I ever buy another new car, I will be back at Planet Hyundai Centennial demanding to see Anthony. He was friendly without being phony, determined without being pushy, knowledgeable without being annoying, and patient beyond the call of duty. Larry and I thank you for making our day. More
