If I could rate NEGATIVE stars, I would. Brought in for warranty covered repair on Jan 20, and they had it for 58 days, Service Manager Gianni Martinez literally refused to come to phone. Only time we could get any info was going in person. FINALLY ready per TEXT and we went to pick it up with NEITHER the Service Tech or Manager in site. Got it home, same problem popped up and THEN the AC and Temp gage went out, Reached out to Corporate for help and the dealership ignored them too. The ONLY person that was helpful in the service department was Carson Byers. We are without the vehicle and Rental car coverage on insurance ran out. every time I come here to get a repair, they try to charge me an astronomical fee. I have to then always remind them that I purchased a protection plan when I bought the vehicle from them, which takes charge me an astronomical fee. Today I brought my truck in to get a tire changed as there was a slow leak They diagnosed this leak, confirming my suspicion And then try to charge me $350 for a tire. I told them I bought the tire protection plan. Once again they had to look it up to confirm that I was correct. This took significant amount of time as usual. Why it’s not readily available I do not know. It then it took four hours to “ Get permission” to repair my tire with the protection plan I am not exaggerating. From the moment I walked in, Abraham was incredibly helpful and made my truck-buying experience unforgettable. He went above and beyond to ensure that I found a truck that met all of my preferences. I initially came in to compare two trims, the Elevation and SLT. Abraham took the time to show me several color options and even brought out both truck styles so I could directly compare them. He thoroughly explained the features of each trim and never made me feel pressured to choose one over the other. Once I made my decision, I was in love with the truck, but there was one feature missing. Abraham quickly found the exact color and trim combination with that feature, and at that point, I was sold. My husband and I purchased a new 2024 Sierra 1500 on 11/22/2024. We were made aware that the vehicle had been used a courtesy vehicle but being sold as a new vehicle. While test driving the vehicle we 11/22/2024. We were made aware that the vehicle had been used a courtesy vehicle but being sold as a new vehicle. While test driving the vehicle we became aware of a tear in the center console and brought it to the attention of the sales person. He said he would speak to the manager and see what could be done about it. We told him at that time that as the vehicle was being sold as a "NEW" vehicle that we would only purchase it if the console were to be replaced and not repaired. We were assured multiple times that that would not be a problem and it would be taken care of so we purchased the vehicle. As time went by and no one contacted us about the "replacement" console we started calling to see when to expect this to be addressed. It became increasingly difficult to get an answer from anyone but finally were told when to bring the vehicle in. My husband took it in at the appointed time (fully expecting a new console) but when he picked it up he realized that they had tried to repair the tear instead of replacing the console like we had been assured of. Since then, after numerous emails and phone calls we still have a very obviously repaired center console and now no one returns our phone calls or emails. As you can see we are very unhappy and disappointed in this dealership and the way we have been lied to and ignored. More
Made an appointment for my vehicle to have a code read. Was told the wait is 2 1/2 hours. After going to another dealership and getting treated like a second class citizen. I was able to comeback to Cavender's and purchase the truck I wanted. My spouse purchased a vehicle here, and one day later had issues with one of the tire pressure monitors in one of the tires. Turns out the technician put the wrong part on and the service manager would not t issues with one of the tire pressure monitors in one of the tires. Turns out the technician put the wrong part on and the service manager would not take responsibility for the error and wanted to charge to correct the issue. The service manager even stated it was an error by the tech. Super poor service here. We took the car to Lexus where they knew what they were doing. I would avoid this place if you’re looking for quality service. More
Took my truck in for a transmission service. Received my truck back and the engine light was on intermittently. After sitting at the dealership until 4pm I was informed that a rental car would be ready for me Saturday morning and would be covered by my warranty. Called and showed up to the dealership and was told no rental oh well figure it out. No update on the status through this prosses. Monday, I have to go to the dealership and the service adviser is unaware that we were not put in a rental on Saturday. I am then informed that no one has verified my warranty, so they have not started on my vehicle. Now today I'm calling, and no one is available to find out what the status is of my vehicle. I am aware that this is not normal for Cavinder dealerships because I purchased a vehicle from the Toyota dealership and their service and sales team exceed expectations. More
Sold me a truck with damage that I thought was a smudge. Turned out to be a scrape on a mirror which I immediately reported. They told me too bad and won’t do anything for me. Then took a month and a half of back and forth to finally get my second key fob which I had to drive over an hour to get programmed since they apparently lost the original. If you want someone to care after you sign the contract go elsewhere. More
