Every time our car is serviced, something goes wrong and it needs more work. The final straw for us was when we had our transmission replaced for close to $8,000.00 and immediately had other issues with our it needs more work. We waited and hoped it would get better, but did not so we went and got other opinions from 2 other mechanics. The new problem we were told was due to when the transmission was replaced, by both mechanics! We took the vehicle back to Carr and they told us their mechanics are very capable and would not have made that problem, but we will give you a deal and fix it for $3,000.00! They refused to take responsibility. for the problem that they created and would not fix their mistake. We've realized that we've spent more on our vehicle since we've been taking it there with mechanical work at Carr then what we bought our vehicle for! So, if you want to continually have car issues and spend more than you bought your vehicle for, then this is the place to have your car worked on. More
The service dept was great about booking my oil change and finishing the job on time. BUT, I could not believe the oil-dirt shoe prints on my floor mat, door seal, seats and glove compartment. Someone had taken the lung nut out of the glove compartment (did leave it in the drink holder) but had black marks where they opened the glove box. My tires were missing 2 valve stems (which may have already been missing) but they didn't brother to replace them. I have NEVER had a car serviced that the inside was so dirt and damaged. More
I always get great service no matter what I am in for. Jake always makes me feel like he remembers me and my car. Sheri,made our car buying fast and easy. .She helped us compare the two we were most interested in and make a choice. She showed me the great coffee bar and whipped through the paperwork. I was fully informed of what was going on. Raychel was fantastic (even though her angelic magic was a bit off). The service technician was unable to rotate my tires (due to no fault of his). Apparently, there are after-market lugnuts on my 3500HD Denali truck and it was overlooked when the truck was gone over before being put on the lot. Not a big deal, I obtained a proper lug key from NAPA Auto Parts where I live. So, maybe in the future, you might add that to your vehicle inspection list before you put it on the lot for sale. Now with that being said, after 40 years of being a Ford customer, Carr Buick GMC has earned a customer for life. One of very few dealerships whose entire employee tree (from salesman to the Top Dog), is knowledgable, 100% honest (not something one would expect from an auto dealership), and genuinely cares about the customer.
