got cheated at Carmax in Scottsdale. Had issue with online offer system. Gave me one price then a different one a couple days later. I assume old offer was no longer valid. Got an email one day later that old offer was still pending. Went to see if I could get the difference based on system glitch. They made a bunch of excuses and said no. $600 lost. It was shipped and ready sooner than estimated, They kept be informed of the ETA the whole time by text and email. I test drove it and made the decision to buy. They gave me a very fair price for my 14 year old car. The process of paperwork to sell and then buy was taken care of efficently by Justin, It was the most stressfree car buying experience. I took the car to my own mechanic to be sure everything was in good shape as I trust them. The car passed their testing and inspection with no problems at all, which made me feel confident in my decision. More

11 days after we bought this car, it broke down in CA. It was supposed to be fixed in CA and then shipped back to AZ. This happened over three weeks ago and we still don't have her car back. First they were going to fix it, then they said they had to ship it to AZ to get it fixed, now they say it's fixed in CA but no one really knows. Unbelievably poor follow up and communication. Additionally, a service request was submitted the day we bought it and 2.5 weeks later a random phone call comes in asking about the repair. This was supposed to be done before we bought the car but the salesperson never submitted the ticket. I will NEVER buy another car from Carmax and have let many people know about our experience. At this point, we just want our money back. More

This place is TERRIBLE! We paid the deposit of $250 to get a car transferred here to Arizona. We test drove it and they said they'd send the paperwork. Instead, we got a text that the car had been released. We went back to carmax within the hour and (as Ashley wouldn't even make eye contact) were told a higher up manager higher than Dezirae had let another customer put a deposit down and they were buying the car. Dezirae was of zero help. Worst customer service ever!! And we are out the deposit! More
