I purchased a Chrysler Aspen here in 2009 which wasn't exactly the best sales experience I've ever had. I should have listened to my gut before entering this dealer again to purchase a 2014 Grand wasn't exactly the best sales experience I've ever had. I should have listened to my gut before entering this dealer again to purchase a 2014 Grand Cherokee. I entered the showroom on a midweek afternoon when all was quiet and there were no other customers in the showroom. Two "salesmen" were sitting at their desks seemingly hypnotized by their smart phone or some other distraction. I waited by the front desk in sight of both of them but no one even acknowledeged me. I guess they didn't attend the meeting about the "10 foot rule". I finally walked over to a salesman ( who NEVER introduced himself) and asked for help. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he searched their inventory to see if they had the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit I wanted. They did not but asked me what I was looking to pay for this. Since I had competing offers, I told them what my net offer was with the trade of my 2009 Aspen. The "salesman" kept trying to work the deal by asking how much I wanted for my trade, etc. I kept telling him I was only interested in the net sales price since I know they could offer me anything for my trade and make up the difference with the price of the new vehicle. He finally called over his manager, Bob Weiss ( whose name I only learned because I just looked him up on their website). Bob took my keys to the Aspen and sent it for evaluation of the trade-in value. After several minutes he returned and we talked price. They located a Jeep like I wanted that they could bring into the dealership. Long story short, they were over $4000 over the best offer I got at another dealership. Bob told me his used car guy was at an auction that day and he would talk to him the next day to see if they could offer me more for my trade and get to the number I wanted. He aked me to not accept the other offer until I heard from him. Two days went buy without a phone call from Bob, so I accepted the offer I got at the other dealer. It's been almost two weeks now since this expereince and I still haven't gotten a call. I guess Bob wanted me to come begging to them to spend my money. Business must be pretty good at Carman for them to be so cavalier about sales. I guess they didn't need this $50K plus sale. Addendum: Received a call for Joe Triboletti, General Manager of Carmen CJD in response to this review. Joe told me Bob Weiss tried to call me three times on my cell phone and left messages. For some reason I didn't get the messages. I'll take his word on this. More

I went into the dealership on two occasions to purchase my FIAT 500 lounge, and both times I was greeted right away. I am writing to say that I have just brought another New vehicle (Chrysler Town & Country). I got another great experience dealing with Dan Neal(salesman), he has always been up front in dealing with my wan vehicle (Chrysler Town & Country). I got another great experience dealing with Dan Neal(salesman), he has always been up front in dealing with my wants/needs. When I get service, I deal with Tony Trotta, who really knows he stuff about what and how best to make any service or repairs. The the last three/four years i have brought 6 new cars from this dealership and have alway delt with Dan Neal for sales and Tony Trotta for service. I can not say enought good, positive things about these two gentelmen. They are the reason why I keep dealing with this dealership. Jim Johnson More
Both of these gentlemen were very gracious. I explained that I was not making any decisions that day and they resepcted that. When I expalined again that I was not going to buy at that point in time, they did not pressure me. I am the kind of buyer that gets turned off by pressure and they realized that. If I decide to buy a Fiat, I will buy from this dealership rather than one closer to either of my two homes. The earned my business. Jason called me back on Monday to thank me for stopping in. Obviously they will keep me in their sights, but I think they will respect that I am still in the fact finding mode and that I will not buy until I am ready to do so. More
