After a lot of research, I test drove a Dodge Dart GT and the Fiat 500L to make my final car-buying decision. Jay was specifically recommended to me by my friend who recently purchased a Fiat Abarth and was very happy with the service he provided. Despite learning everything Jay could teach me about the 500L, I determined that the Dart was a better vehicle for me but I still wanted to work with Jay. We discussed all of the options I wanted in a Dart and Jay found the exact vehicle I wanted in just two days. He transferred the vehicle from Baltimore to Carman Dodge shortly after locating it, even though the manager later told me it was Jay's day off. I've never enjoyed car-buying before this purchase and I can honestly say that Jason made this purchase as enjoyable as it could have been. He was patient while I made my decision, found me a vehicle with EVERY option I wanted and he kept me happy through the entire process. We shopped at 3 Dodge/Chrysler dealers in New Castle County, in the end choosing Carman Dodge. We (Janet and I) were greeted soon after arriving on site by one of their salesmen, Al Grandell. We returned a day or two later and hooked up with Al again, this time making the purchase of a Pearl Blue 2013 Dodge Dart Limited. Al has a very unassuming, low pressure personality, yet persistent, good listener, accommodating, and knowledgeable. When it became apparent that Janet and I needed some additional "guidance" to help in the decision-making process, Al introduced us to Bob Weiss, Head Sales Manager. Bob moved the process along in ways that Head Sales Managers have a knack for. While making a big purchase can be a little nerve-wracking, at the same time I like to be sold, and appreciate the fact that Carman seemed to care that making the sale of only one car is important to them at the same time. Al helped me set up the UConnect system etc. before sending us off in our new set of wheels. Oh yeah, he also has a huge golf-size umbrella that he was all too willing to share the wife and I when a torrential downpour struck towards the end of our visit. I look forward to stopping in and saying "hi" on my service visits to Carman Dodge. More
