Lied about Credit inquiry Came in looking at a Jeep Wrangler. Found one I liked, test drove it, went in to talk numbers. During the drive, he was nice and answered most of my q Came in looking at a Jeep Wrangler. Found one I liked, test drove it, went in to talk numbers. During the drive, he was nice and answered most of my questions about the car. Once we got back to the dealership however, my salesman would not throw out any numbers or discuss pricing with me. He first made me fill out a credit application slip and ran a credit check on me, before any numbers were discussed. He then told me that it was a soft check and wouldn't show up on my credit report, which was a lie. 1 week later, my score gets dinged because of a Hard credit inquiry from Carmen Chrysler Jeep and Dodge. I'll admit I'm inexperienced in car buying and I should've been smarter and not signed the form, but I don't appreciate being lied to or them needing to see my credit/salary before they'll talk numbers. I will not be back. More
I own a $60,000 paper weight I have a 2016 Ram 2500 with a Cummins diesel with only 21k miles. Yesterday my dashboard told me that in 150 miles the truck would have a max speed o I have a 2016 Ram 2500 with a Cummins diesel with only 21k miles. Yesterday my dashboard told me that in 150 miles the truck would have a max speed of 5mph unless I had the DEF system serviced at the dealer. So I contacted Carman Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge in New Castle, DE for help. Initially, they treated me as if I were stupid on the phone and told me to just add DEF fluid in to the truck. After explaining, again, that the DEF tank was not empty, they advised I bring the truck in for service. I dropped the truck off Thursday night and luckily was able to borrow a relatives car so that I could still go to work the next day. It was my understanding that Carman would contact me today with an update on what was wrong. I was wrong. I eventually had to call them only to speak with an extremely unhelpful service representative named Tony. Tony told me the part they need is on back order and that he doesn't know when it will be fixed. Meanwhile, no regard for my obligations and work schedule of needing a vehicle. To make matters worse, I asked Tony if the service would be covered under the warranty. Tony did not know if it was covered. How is it possible to know what is wrong with a vehicle, know the parts needed to fix it, but not know if it's covered under warranty? Fed up with Tony's lack of answers, I contacted Ram (800 992-1997) and the representative I talked to informed that Tony hadn't even ordered the part to fix my truck yet. After trying to help me, she informed me that until the part is ordered, she is unable to submit a request for a loaner car for me to use. Finally, a few hours later, Carman ordered the part, and a request was submitted for a loaner car. Then I find out that the request for a loaner car takes 1-2 business days. Here I am, Friday night, no truck, no loaner, no way to get around, and most importantly, no answers. I bought a truck for nearly $60k and after 21k miles, not only am I unable to use it, but I can't even receive a loaner car so that I can go to work? What am I supposed to do? More

He brought the car up for us to test drive. Bob Weiss recognized us from when we came in before with another family member. That made us feel very welcomed and that we mattered to them. In the end doing the finance with John Mayberry was very easy . He made sure we understood everything we were signing and made the process quick and easy. More

Worst Service EVER! I don't know where to start honestly however I have a Dodge Avenger that has been to this service center two times in two weeks for transmission issue I don't know where to start honestly however I have a Dodge Avenger that has been to this service center two times in two weeks for transmission issues!! Tonight would have been the third time in over two weeks however I decided to go to a reputable service center at Newark Dodge and have it fixed the right way the first time!!Unfortunately, I have dealt with Mark both times and he refused to go over what was wrong with the transmission both times after I specifically asked what they did to "fix it"". He was rude and short with me after I questioned the work his shop had done. The transmission is covered under warranty and yet they continue to put my life in jeopardy as each time the transmission failed it was on a very busy highway or in the middle of an intersection. They can't accept cars onto their lot after hours as they lock up like Ft Knox overnight. They will not call you back after you ask them to do so multiple times. Mr know it all Mark stated the first time this issue came about the car would be ready by the next day...well guess what it wasn't as they needed additional parts...you don't what parts you need when you first looked at it? Rookie move! No shuttle service was ever offered and only a lot of broken promises and never any follow through to take care of the customer. Stay away from this service center you will not be satisfied. Dodge transmissions have been known to be junk but this certainly is an eye opener/ Never Dodge again!! Mary W. More

An exceptionally fun car buying experiance. My wife who is now recovering from a long illness really wanted a new Fiat Spider with a manual transmission. It had to be the exact color and equippt My wife who is now recovering from a long illness really wanted a new Fiat Spider with a manual transmission. It had to be the exact color and equippted the way she wanted. I went to Dan and told him what I wanted. He asked why a stick shift? I said "thats the way she is. A stick shift sports car does it for her, no bulky suv." He said he would do his best to help me but it would probably have to be ordered. I told my wife she would have it about July. To make a long story short, Dan found the exact car she wanted over a hundred miles away. He worked a deal with the dealer who had it, brought it here, parked it in the show room with a big bow on the hood. It sparkeled! I did not tell my wife. When I brought Tami in to order the car, the suprise was too much for words. It was a day she will never forget. Dan and Erwin Lee, a great guy who took care of all the details and financing, did more for us than I ever experianced with buying a car before.
