They were normal guys there not some xxxxxxx in suite (ha ha). I brought in my new Dodge Charger R/T with a problem. The car had less than 300 miles and it showed "service keyless entry system". The battery also became discharged. His attitude was exceptional in trying to help me and keep me informed of the work progress. He was friendly and made me comfortable that everything was being done to get me back in my new car. I have purchased many new cars. My experience in dealing with the Carman Team was the best I have had in buying a new car. I started with an Internet Price with Katie, called John M. for an Extended Warran with the Carman Team was the best I have had in buying a new car. I started with an Internet Price with Katie, called John M. for an Extended Warranty price, came to the showroom for a test drive where I met Sean K. and Joe T. I wanted a red Compass LTD. Carman did not have one. Dealers in Smyrna and Doylestown did. I told Joe and Sean that I wanted to deal with a delaer in the community I lived in so they agreed to find me a red Compass. The original deceision was to locate a red Compass versus a silver one that was due in to the dealer. I brought my wife Saturday to test drive the car and when she was shown the silver Compass there was no pressure or push to take it. She loved the color and features so we purchased it. The entire staff was professional, upbeat and straightforward. They seemed to appreciate that I had done a lot of homework ahead of time. Most dealers would have tried to discredit the quotes from other dealers or the used car price reports I had with me. That was not the case at Carman. Every printout or handwritten price negotiation was given to me to keep and review. Buying a car can be a difficult process. There is a lot of money involved and the process is stressful. I will recommend as often as I can for friends and family to meet the Carman Team in New Castle. They certainly made the car buying process a good one. More
Came in loving the Jeep Wranglers, but knew they'd be pricy. Dan went over every option possible to get me the payment that I was hoping to pay monthly & he got it even better than I expected! Even after I left, he did some research without my knowing & realized that I was able to get extra accessories for the Jeep at no charge! I think the process was entirely too long. It took four hours from start to finish. We came in and knew what we were looking for and it still seemed to take too long. There was a lot of time just sitting at the sale's man desk waiting for the finance guy. We were the only customers there yet it still took forever. When we got home, we realized you were kind enough to give us a 1/2 a tank of gas. I was pretty put off by that. We just spent over $30K and you couldn't fill up the gas tank? We love the truck, not completely pleased with the amount we are paying. Overall, would shop there again (if we can ever afford to again). More
This is the 4th Grand Cherokee I have owned. I have owned all 4 generations and have bought them from 4 different dealerships. I will definatly come back to this one. Our salesperson Sean was great. We got a good deal and a fair price for our trade. At first, I did not think they had a very large selection but Sean asked what options were important and showed us a whole line of vehilces at the back of the dealership that were optioned the way we wanted. They got us in and out in timly manor. The only disapointment was the vehilce was not detailed very well. It was washed on the outside but had lots of dirt/dust in all the door jambs, engine area, and all the nooks and crannys. The windows were dirty and all build stickers/stock numbers were not removed. I had to clean the car again the next day myself. On the flip side, this was a spot delivery at 5:00 pm on a Saturday and they were rushed to get the car delivered to me so not all their fault. I feel confident if I mention this to them at my first oil change, they will wash and clean it agan for me. I would highly recomend them. More
We were referred to Carman Jeep by a co-worker of mine who highly reccommended them because she didn't feel like she was dealing with "car-salesmen" when she bought her Jeep. To be honest, when we first arrived I was not impressed with the man who approached my husband and I as we were looking to replace our lease that was about to expire. We told him our price range and he was not very kind when he realized we were sticking to budget. We told the manager that we were not happy with his attitude and that we were leaving and they pulled out all the stops to get us to stay, so glad we did! We worked with Dave and he was great! He listened to our concerns and needs and showed us every Jeep that was a fit to what we wanted. We left that night with our new Jeep and settled on our monthly payment for our lease. We got a call a couple of days later that they were able to lower our monthly payment by about $20 per month because they did more research and found more rebates that we were eligible for. We are very happy with how the deal ended up. I would reccommend Dave Steller to anyone who wants to deal with a fair, family oriented, funny guy. Felt like I was car shopping with my father. More
