He was extremely helpful and not the least bit pushy, which I really appreciated! He was the reason I came back the next week. That time I was not just looking, but interested in buying, and I dealt with Pablo Goycochea. He was also extremely helpful and knowledgeable in finding me the car I wanted. After going through Carlton's inventory and all other available inventory, we could not find one. The 2017 models were just beginning to come out, and that is what I wanted. With the help of Brian, they contacted Germany and found one for me. It wasn't even built yet, but on the list to be done. They reserved it for me and kept me up to date on its progress, even when it left the assembly line. They called me on August 24,and told me she was done, that it was her birthday. They even showed me how to track the progress of the cargo ship from Germany to Georgia! They were extremely caring and concerned and not the least bit condescending ( to a woman), Best buying experience ever! More

I purchased my Mercedes E400 from Carlton which was a pleasant experience, but I must say Sammy in the service department took it to it to the next level. He restored my faith in dealership service departments. The service was completed in a timely manner, he was courteous and professional and he even remembered to reset my backup mirrors that I happened to mention in passing. My compliments to Sammy and the team at Carlton Mercedes Benz. More
Very Disappointing Visit I am a woman who visited the Greenville Carlton MB dealership alone today to test drive an E350 that I had already decided to purchase. I drove 2.5 hr I am a woman who visited the Greenville Carlton MB dealership alone today to test drive an E350 that I had already decided to purchase. I drove 2.5 hrs to the dealership, and was helped by John. He was very polite, but did not address my concerns regarding the battery that had been replaced 4 times on the vehicle. When I first asked about why the battery had been replaced so many times, John stated "it hadn't been driven very much," even though it had a normal amount of miles for the year of the car. When I further questioned why the battery hadn't just been jumped instead of replaced, he again gave me another excuse. I then asked to speak to the mechanic, who was very helpful but again just a guess as to why the battery had been replaced 4 times. When I asked John to check the date on the main car battery, he came up with more excuses, including that I would be charged a service fee. He finally relented (without charging me) and had it checked (which took about 3 minutes.) Even after that frustrating experience, I was still interested in the vehicle; in fact, I had cleaned out my belongings and brought my own car title with me in anticipation of purchasing the car. John provided me with the sticker price less my trade in, and when I countered his offer with an initial one of my own, he simply stated no and got up from his desk. I felt that he did not take me seriously from the moment I walked in, and feel that if I had come in with my husband, I would have had a very different experience and would probably be driving that vehicle home today. As a two-time MB owner, I have never had such a distasteful experience with a Mercedes-Benz dealership, and will not be returning to the Greenville Carlton MB again. More

During this time, I have purchased 4 cars and have had all of them serviced by Carlton Motorcars. My sales advisor from the start, Pablo Goycochea, has treated me with respect, professionalism,and has been fair when negotiating a deal. His sales manager, Brian Paban has treated me with the characteristics. From time to time, I drop in at the dealership to say hello and see how Mr. Carlton is doing. Both Pablo and Brian treat me like a very good friend and make me feel welcomed. Much appreciated! When it comes to service, David Knutti, my services advisor for the past six years, goes out of his way to assure that all my service needs are met. Charges above the national average I had to have my car towed 200 miles to them as I had just moved to Greenville and it was a Sunday. They took six business days to replace a starter. The starter was not new, but rebuilt and the total charge for part and labor was almost $1,000. They gave me a rental car, but no Mercedes loaner. When I mentioned to service manager they were higher than national average of Mercedes dealers he noted they had done a dianostic in addition to labor for starter. For a simple starter it took a week and half and $1,000. I would not buy a car, or have future service done there. They are much higher than other Mercedes dealers in cities larger than Greenville like Atlanta, Dallas, etc. I got quotes that were $200 to $300 less. More
