We came in to turn in a Cadillac ATS at the end of its lease and test/purchase a used 2019 Buick Encore that I’d seen online. We liked the vehicle we ended up purchasing it on Wednesday, January 27th, whe lease and test/purchase a used 2019 Buick Encore that I’d seen online. We liked the vehicle we ended up purchasing it on Wednesday, January 27th, when I turned in the leased car. I had requested a 1:30 time for completing your finance paperwork with JJ so that my wife Lonnie could arrive, sign the doc’s, and be back off to work. When I arrived JJ handed me off to Josh to go through the paperwork process. Josh offered me a place to sit while he ran off to get some paperwork. He offered me a water and was off. It was five minutes or more before he returned with a couple of documents that that he wanted to verify. Once we completed those. He got up, excused himself again and was off returning with a couple additional documents to complete. Mind you, this is the recurring theme throughout the experience. We completed those and once again Josh was off and away. When he returned again with a couple of sheets of paper, I asked, before you take off with these, please explain what you’re doing, because we need to sign the finance/purchase paperwork so that Lonnie could get back to work.. He said these were the last ones they had and that then we would be going to Finance to complete the purchase documents. He brought us over, sat us in a waiting area to wait while he checked to see if Jay was ready. He returned and ushered us into Jay’s office. Things went pretty normal with Finance, we paid with a down and funds from our credit union (CU). Jay communicated with our processor at the CU, verifying the funds and when all was completed I drove away with the Encore. As I said earlier, I was returning a leased Cadillac the same day to your dealership. I drove the Cadillac there and drove away in the Encore. I had printed and filled out the mileage paperwork to be turned in to you with the Cadillac. I handed the document and the key fob, I only had one with me, to Josh when he asked for them. He said that I would have turn in the other fob within 24 hours or we would be charged for it. I returned on Thursday the 38th, and went inside to return the other key fob (I thought it would be a simple process). I found a gentleman up front and explained to him what I was doing and handed him the fob. I requested a receipt for the records. He asked who had helped me and I explained that it was JJ and Josh. He then left me to contact them. I waited and he came back and took the fob with him. He returned again with the mileage document along with the key fob that I had returned the previous day, put them all together and gave me a signed copy that all had been returned. Then I received an email from Alex Sanchez, stating that returned Cadillac had been turned in, but that he hereby certified that, to the best of his knowledge, the odometer reading is NOT the actual mileage of the... This statement doesn’t make me a happy camper. That Cadillac was only serviced at Cadillac service facilities in NY, Seattle and Orlando. There isn’t and haven’t been any other miles driven than are noted on the odometer. And my final observation is from when I arrive at your business, it’s occurred all three times. The sales team seems more like a pack waiting to pounce. I don’t know if this a COVID-19 related operating procedure to maintain safe distancing and escorting but it doesn’t come off as professional. The salespeople were gathered more in a huddle in front of the building just talking and broke towards me when I cleared my car door. It just comes off poorly. It would have been better if they were spread out doing something, not perched waiting as we park, rather looking out from under a hood, or from the seat of a car, thanking us for stopping in and to please let me know if I can be of any assistance. If you’d like to go into showroom please allow me to escort you as we practice safe protocols here. That’s what should have happened and your staff inside working should all have been wearing masks. So I really don’t know how to properly rate my experience with your dealership. The only communications I’ve received after purchasing the Encore from you is to say that vehicle was turned in and that he believed to the best of his knowledge that the odometer reading is NOT correct, and then the text asking me to rate my experience. We all need to be better at completing the actions first to set the example of how we want to be perceived by others. I will say this, if what I experienced is who you are, why do you ask me to rate, you can pull those arrows from your own quiver. More

My only complaints are the fact that it took 6 hours to do this. And they sold the car I came in to purchase. I wish I could have got a little better deal on the Canyon.
